Cute and easy read. Loved the characters, easy happy read

Another Ice Knights Win!. The first two books in this series solidified my fandom of the Ice Knights but Jason's story let us see another side of this team, their families. Jason's brother was book one in this series and I basically fell in love with his family. This book let us visit with them a little more and get to see the friendship that Jason has with brothers and Tessa's brother. Tessa is such an amazing person. She's really been through it but she's coming out on top. Her ex is the worst kind of person and the only thing I wished had been seen in this story was that awful person's comeuppance. Jason was definitely swoonier (<-- new word, maybe?) than I expected him to be. He was sweet, caring, and ready to swoop in and do whatever he had to to get Tessa to stay. Parts of this book absolutely broke my heart but it made me even more excited for more Ice Knights in the future. There's so many more members of this team family that deserve their HEA!!

Cringey angsty guy main character. I had to stop reading because I couldn’t stop hoping and rooting that the female lead would run far far away from the psychotic lead. Red flags all around and she even realizes it, which is why it’s so hard for her to trust that he’s a good guy. Weird book. I enjoyed the book in the series before this but I will not be reading on.

Poor Storyline. Story line was a little all over the place, not much like her others in this series.

Tessa and Jason. Jason Taylor, first line player of the Ice Kings Hockey team, has wanted Tessa for as long as he can remember. But it’s never been the right time. He was either too busy building his career or Tessa was unavailable. First she was too young, he was just starting his NHL career, then she was engaged....Now she’s visiting her brother and he’s not stepping aside and missing out on the opportunity to woo Tessa. He helps to find her a job and even offers up his extra bedroom until she gets back on her feet. But it won’t be easy to win her heart as she’s just broken off her engagement. Oh, she’s also his best friend and teammate’s little sister. Tessa has just arrived home from work to find all her belongings GONE. Her former fiancé has stolen everything, including what little she had in savings. Tessa turns to her brother for comfort and he flies her out for a visit. While there, Tessa’s life-long crush, Jason drops hints that he may now see her as more than her brother’s little sister. Tessa, however, isn’t easily persuaded as her ex has really ruined her trust in men. Jason is fun, flirty, caring, sexy—ALPHA all the way! He sometimes steps in without thinking and doesn’t always allow Tessa to work out her problems on her own, but he’s a quick learner. Their chemistry was sizzling! I loved that Tessa’s brother was so supportive of their relationship. Although this is a “hockey” novel, it was really more of a “best friend’s little sister” novel. LOVED it! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Great addition. What a great addition to the Ice King Series, each story can be read as stand-alone’s as each book is about a different player from the Ice Kings NHL Team, although I’m sure once you pick one of these books up you will want to read the rest of the series. This is Tessa Chauncy and Jason Taylor’s story and it’s a tale with all the feels you want and expect in a great read, it certainly ticked all my boxes and I’m sure if you one click this gem you won’t be disappointed. Jason has had feelings for his best friend Sawyer’s sister for many years but it was a line he wasn’t prepared to cross because Sawyer is not only his best friend he is also a teammate. Funny thing is Tessa has crushed on Jason for as long as she can remember but both were clueless to each other’s feelings until now..... will Jason take a leap of faith or will Sawyer still be in the way. The chemistry is sizzling as this relationship goes from friends to lovers but it was Jason supporting Tessa on her next journey that really touched me. I loved everything about this book, it has all the feels, I smiled at the witty banter and I swooned as this couple took their friendship to the next level and I can’t wait to see where Ms Lynn takes us next.

Good story. Stacey Lynn is a relatively new author to me. I quickly became invested in the story that Ms.Lynn wove and cannot wait to read more in this series. This is Tessa Chauncy and Jason Taylor’s story and it was an entertaining read that ticked the boxes for me. Having been badly burnt and left with virtually nothing by her ex, Tessa turns to her brother Sawyer for help. Jason has been attracted to his best friend Sawyer's sister for sometime but she has no clue and ironically Tessa has always had a crush on Jason. I loved the chemistry that sizzled between Tessa and Jason and that their attraction morphs from friendship into a relationship. I could easily see myself being friends with Tessa and Jason was totally swoon worthy. I also liked that Jason was prepared to push Tessa out of her comfort zone and was there for her and supportive. Will Jason be able to convince Tessa to take a chance on him? One click and find out.
