Fun read. Glad to meet more Chicago Stars players…!

Fun & Enjoyable Read!. If I’m ever having a bad day, reading any of Susan Elizabeth Phillip’s books helps to put me back into a good mental state. Fun characters, good chemistry, and enough excitement to read more of her books when you’re done.

She’s Baaack…. Thank goodness! Though I sympathize with writers wanting to break out of their genres, I don’t think I could take another dreary, woke tome masquerading as an SEP book. Couldn’t even finish her last one — but this book marks a triumphant return to the SEP her readers cherish. It’s funny, snarky, and tender by turns. And it’s studded (pun intended) with handsome, loyal, and whip-smart athletes, along with other great supporting characters. Brava, Susan Elizabeth Phillips! Encore!

When Stars Collide. Phillips is better than this. Too much reliance on gimmicks and characters from old stories. It’s as if she were given an unwanted assignment at the end of senior year and went through the prior stories and notes. She is better than this and has failed to use her special writing gift.

When stars collide. Predictable theme. A modern take on a Barbara Cartland era. Disappointing read.

Wheee. What a ride! This book is fabulous, two strong willed overachievers.

Possibly Her Best Book Yet. Loved the characters and how they were so in touch with their feelings. I’ve read this twice and I am sure the third reading will be just as enjoyable as the first two.

When the Stars collide. One of the best Stars books yet! I’ve read th ese books for over 20 years now and I’m never disappointed and I can never put them down until it’s over. I loved the opera singer with the football player and all the comparisons on how something so different can be so similar too! This is a must read for any romance fans.

Another hit!. I love all of her books. Susan Elizabeth Phillips is one of my top three favorite romance authors and this is a solid addition to such a beloved series of books. There’s so much depth in her writing and chemistry between the leads. Definitely recommend.

When Stars Collide. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I felt like there were no boring moments. I love the chicago stars series so i am a bit biased. I loved the heroine as much as i loved the hero. An easy and enjoyable read in these trying times. I love the dialogue and the easy banter. SEP has always been one of my favorite authors. Go purchase the book. 😜😜

I expected more from this author. Overall an expensive disappointment. Story seemed choppy, lacking depth in places with nothing new to offer & honestly I was bored & skipped ahead. Definitely not in the same league as other books from this author I’ve absolutely loved & reread many times over the years like Natural Born Charmer & Fancy Pants to name just a couple. I have all of this author’s books but I certainly won’t be in any hurry to buy more in the future. There are plenty of more reasonably priced & free books that are better than this one.

Delightful & so clever. A truly delightful read. So thoroughly enjoyable. Such thoughtful, wise and sensitive depictions of the challenges women face in relationships as they struggle not to get consumed by their partners. The love story between Olivia and Thad is delicious and deeply enriching. I love how they love each other.
