Jackson “Jax” Caruso’s parents fought for the Independents. They lost. Twenty years later, he’s just trying to keep flying. After all, food and, more importantly, beer ain’t free. He’s got a fast ship, two droids, and not much else. So when he’s approached about a job that seems perfect, he pulls in some friends, ok, more like acquaintances, and sets off. Seems like a simple job, doing something good for folks that can’t do for themselves. Maybe it’s time Jax re-thinks his ‘any job will do’ motto. Learning that your client isn’t who you thought they were can suck. Finding out that you’re the bad guy can be just the nudge you need to do the right thing. Is it enough for Jax? The money is really good, after all.

Any Job Will Do. Good story, good characters, whats not to like!
Great story line but.... I liked the story line and the characters. Not so thrilled by the unnecessary bi-sexual sub-plot between Jackson and Steve. Didn’t need to have a sexual tension element there to further the plot.
Too broad minded. A hero who’s undiscerning with whom or with what sex he sleeps may sell books but not to me.
Woke. Had potential but it went woke.
Any job will do. Light fluff, but still an easy fun read
Awesome read. My favorite bits are the parts with the robots. This is how I picture robots of the future, for sure.
