Excellent. I really liked this book! It has been awhile since I read a time travel novel and this brought back the urge to do so more often. Starting off with secrets and action reminiscent of National Treasure, I was immediately submerged in a world of duplicity, confusion and doubt. Then the time travel came into play and WHAM! I was whisked into another world that was entirely different, yet just as compelling, if not more so! I loved William and Marian and was completely invested in their story from start to finish! Excellent plot, characters, historical detail, action, romance and story building! Five stars! I am definitely looking forward to the next in the Waters of Time series!

Amazing time slip story. Amazing, thought provoking, Christian, historical, romance! Come Back to me is, hold you in your seat, good. Marian is a scientist, trying to find a cure for her sister’s genetic disease. Her father, also a scientist, thinks he is on to the ultimate cure. In the beginning you might think this is going to be a sweet contemporary romance. Nope! Jody Hedlund has the most incredible imagination and she is able to craft it into the most interesting stories. Time slip to the early 1300’s. Handsome knights, battlefield and religious conflicts, large manors with secret passageways, and of course a beautiful maiden in distress. I highly recommend this to anyone 16 and up. And there will be a book 2!! Im so excited!

Excellent must read book. The first book in a new time travel series, Waters of Time, Come Back to Me is full of suspense, romance, danger and intrigue. The main character, Marian slips back into the year 1381 where she meets a knight Will. Will rescues Marian and offers her protection as his wife. The romance between the two will leave you swooning. Marian now faces a dilemma, does she stay in 1381 or go back to the present. I so loved this story and can not wait for the next one. I felt so engaged with the characters and couldn’t wait to see how their stories unfolded. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher. A gripping and delightful time travel romance!. Jody Hedlund has delivered another fantastic story—this time in the form of a gripping and delightful time travel romance! A scientist that travels back into time to medieval England and falls in love with a handsome knight? I will read a book like that anytime! I genuinely enjoyed this book and enthusiastically give it a positive review because of the wonderful romance, exciting storyline, and well-written characters. The start of the story was suspenseful and the plot was immediately interesting, but there was also a lot of theology, science, and history that made it hard to get through the first few chapters. However, I recognized that the information was all crucial to set up the plot and the entire series, so I was okay with a lot of information so that the time travel method was both Christian-based and believable to me as a reader. Marian’s initial method of time travel by tasting the remnants in an old ampullae out of curiosity seemed very unlikely for a scientist, but when the time travel changed to intentional full doses of the holy water, I was totally on board with the method of time travel given Marian’s motives. I loved when we finally got to meet the hero, and the build up to get to that point was suspenseful but so worth the wait! Will is the epitome of a swoon-worthy hero who feels deeply and protects those he loves will ferocity. The steamy but clean romantic chemistry between Marian and Will in this book is epic, and I loved seeing their relationship grow emotionally to match the attraction that seemed almost instant in this story. The author did a wonderful job of depicting the medieval time-period with accuracy yet romanticism, and despite Marian’s difficulties in 1381, I could not help but long to be swept away to medieval England every time I opened the book. Heroic knights, strong maidens, medieval battles, time travel, and an unforgettable romance make this book one you simply cannot miss! Loved It!. This book was amazing! I am a huge Jody Hedlund fan, so I couldn’t wait for this book to come out. I was not disappointed, as this book is like no other. This is a time-travel book in which the main character, Marian, crosses from present day to 1381. Both eras are filled with action and tension, for different reasons. In present day, Marian’s father has fallen into a coma, and her life is in danger due to the research her father had been working on to find holy water from the Tree of Life. In 1381 there is unrest and rebellion, putting Marian in severe danger. This author does so much research when she writes her books, and it shows in the extraordinary details she weaves throughout the story. I especially appreciated that this book was faith based, as the main character leaned on God during her trials.

Phenomenal….MUST READ! WOW!!. Oh my goodness, I almost don’t where to begin with this phenomenal book. This time travel story is a definite must read. I was so enthralled with this story, it was totally unputdownable, a read in one sitting book. Present day and 1381 England, this Middle Ages tale had me hooked. Marian Creighton is a scientist and she is trying to find a cure for her sister Ellen’s illness. But when Marian’s father falls into a coma and Marian travels to England to find out why, she starts having visions of another time. William Durham is a knight in 1381, and rescues Marian from being beaten and offers to protect her as his wife. Marian agrees to it, but is determined to find the cure to bring her father out of his coma and for her sister Ellen’s genetic disease. But Marian is falling for William Durham as he is a man of valor, and that storyline turns this time travel into a romantic love story. Marian must decide, does she want to stay in the past with WiIlliam or does she want to return to present day? This story is so well written, and absorbs you so far into the pages that you forget you are in present time reading about the past. The historical details, mystery and suspense of the story were so amazing, that it played out like a movie in my minds eye. This time travel is escapism at its best. I am usually not a fan of time travel, but this book is so well written that it could become a new favorite genre to read. Thank you Jody Hedlund and Revell Publishing for this amazing read. I thoroughly enjoyed every flip of the page of this story. I highly recommend this book. Wow! Just Wow!
