To The Single Dad in the Store by J. S. Cooper Book Summary

To The Single Dad in the Store,

You have the most amazing hazel eyes I've ever seen. And the pinkest lips. They are what my friends and I would call "insta-kissable." The things I could do to those lips!

Your kids are also cute. They're monsters, but cute. You are single, right? Or are you one of those creeps that just doesn't wear a ring? You could be on the "bangable dad" list. If such a list existed. (I may or may not be a little tipsy as I write this. Thanks for nothing, Captain Morgan.)

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that when you're in the veggie aisle at the store, you shouldn't just grab potatoes and melons from someone else's cart.

Your half-secret admirer,

N

P.S. If you want to know more, text me at the number on the back of this envelope.

To N (whose name could be anything),

First off, I'm not a creep. I am not married. I'm glad to hear I'm a" bangable dad". I'm assuming that means you think I'm hot as well. I wish you had handed me this note so I'd know if you had "insta-kissable" lips or "psycho" eyes.

I don't know why I'm texting this message back to you. Maybe a little bit of curiosity. Though they do say curiosity killed the cat. Do you also have kids? Mine are a handful, but I love them.

Send me a photo?

The Single Dad in the Store

P.S. My name is Steele

To the Single Dad in the Store. I've read several books written by J. S. Cooper; she has done a great job at writing this fabulous story; she is one of my favorite authors. I canā€™t wait to read more of her books. The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. Grab your copy today and start reading you wonā€™t be disappointed

Fiesty. Nellie is such an amazing character!! She cracks me up with her feistiness!! Her and Steele have amazing chemistry!! This book had me laughing with nellies antics!!

A must read if you love a hot single dad!. Ok this book is super steamy, funny and just puts a smile on your face while reading. Nellie meets a super sexy dad, Steele. One of his kids runs over her foot, yā€™all know how bad that hurts!! Well they are always running into each other. She leaves a note for him, and that is when the sparks fly. I love JS Cooperā€™s books. She writes her books so well that itā€™s like a movie playing out in your head. 100% love this book.

Is she a Karen?. Nellie, 22, is a student who lives in her brotherā€™s house and while she s shopping, a little boy pushes a cart into her twice and she confronts the dad who is on the phone and has 2 other kids with him. They have an embarrassing conversation where he refers to her as a judgmental Karen after she tells him he needs to get his kids under control. Later she tells her friend about the hot single dad from the store and her friend suggests she write him a letter to suggest he teach his children etiquette. She writes the note and secretly leaves it in his cart after she signs it from a secret admirer. After several texts she finds out his name is Steele and he invites her over for dinner. Will their dinner go as she planned and how will she react to finding out who he really is? I enjoyed this fun story about strangers who meet in the grocery store and have several humorous conversations before getting to know each other better. Their bantering in the store, with texts and in person, as well as their developing relationship, made this great story. I canā€™t wait to read what happens with Nellieā€™s friend that we meet in this book.

Nellie and Steele. The interaction and quick witted remarks had me laughing out loud, which wasnā€™t what I was expecting. I loved that this story took me away from all the craziness of the world and just had me reading along and laughing. It was a quick read that I didnā€™t want to end but am so glad I got the chance to.

Entertaining. I requested a copy of this book and am voluntarily writing a review. I liked the characters in this book. I found the opening scene interesting and entertaining. I liked most of the story. The immaturity of the female characters in the story was exhausting after awhile. I wasnā€™t a fan of the style of the dialogue back and forth which seemed repetitive. I loved that she finally got her act together. I loved the surprising reveal as well.

Instalove. I skimmed šŸ™ˆ I skimmed a lot. Let me just start off by saying this was the 6th book in the series. Not too many expectations, but it was just okay. I had a really hard time connecting with them and I was annoyed most of the time. This is definitely an easy read, as there was not much depth, and a super instalove story. The heroine was not the best, but man did I dislike the best friend. Sure, immaturity was expected, but man maybe too much. Is that a thing? I hope she is able to redeem herself in her book (next book in the series). The only reason why this is a 3 star review over a 2 star review was the jokes. I love sarcasm and boy was that in here. The banter was great. Highlight of the whole book. I received an ARC in exchange of an honest review.

Love at First Sight. Another great read by J.S. Cooper. This book was a fun fast read with love and humor. Nellie runs into Steele at a grocery store and they learn it was love at first sight. Definitely recommend reading this one. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Fun, sexy read. Iā€™ve read several of this authorā€™s books and this book is another winner. Nellie meets Steele in the grocery store, when who she thinks is his son runs into her with their shopping cart. When she confronts Steele, things donā€™t end well, lol. Nellie keeps seeing him at the store and she canā€™t help noticing how gorgeous he is. When her best friend Shelby suggests leaving a note in his cart, things really get interesting. No spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens. Iā€™m looking forward to reading Shelbyā€™s story in the future. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

Finding love in produce. So, let me start off by saying I enjoyed this book. As usual, I love J.S. Cooper's writing style. She is incredibly talented and really paints the scene for you. I felt like I was there in the grocery store watching the scenes play out. I have read every book in this series and every book she's written. This one just felt rushed and a tad too short. Their love story felt unrealistic. Hangout one time and bam in love it just doesn't seem real. And believe me, I know the impossible my parents met and two weeks later they were married and have been happily married for 29 years. This book was good but it's definitely not my favorite in the series. I am totally looking forward to Shelby's story and can't wait to see where this series continues to go.

NELLIE AND STEELE. OMG this book is so funny. It is a refreshing story from some of the bad boy books I have read. I really enjoyed reading it. Nellie and Shelby get into a bit of mischief but Iā€™ll let you read it to see for your self how things work out for Nellie Steele. Kudos J S Cooper I loved it.

Paper or Plastic. I have to say, this was a wonderful way to spend a rainy Sunday(any day actually) afternoon. I really enjoyed meeting both Nellie and Steele, and their chemistry. Iā€™m looking forward to seeing more from this series. And even more from this wonderful author. Any opinions expressed within this review are solely and uniquely made by me and I am happily leaving this review. I voluntarily received an advanced copy of this book.

Banter-ful. Received Arc for honest review. Nellie is at the grocery store and a kid runs over her foot with the shopping cart. She goes and tries to tell the dad and finds herself being called a Karen. They have a quirky back and forth and he took groceries out her cart when she walked away. Steele is actually the kids uncle; which Nellie didnā€™t know. They hit it off and start falling for each other after one too many jokes/Pranks from Steele. Also, from a misunderstanding from Nellie. Steele has a quirky/funny personality while Nellie seems a little clueless. Love the interactions between them and the banter is funny and captivating.

Fun and witty. I enjoyed this series from this author, and this book was a fun addition. I enjoyed the banter between the two characters. Felt that the book a bit abruptly but it was still a good read.

To the single dad in the store. I received for an honest review Omg I just couldnā€™t get enough I loved the whole story the characters were spot on itā€™s a must read

Enjoyed it. I always enjoy the banter that is in JS Cooper books and this is no different but I felt Nellie came off to judgey during the beginning but her outbursts had me laughing and I really her and Steele. Bickering was these two love language before they even admitted it. Super cute and funny book

Full of lots of Laughs!!!. I have to say this was a great book. If you are familiar with Nellie and Shellie from a previous book in the series or this is your first chance at meeting them, you will quickly fall in love with their crazy ways and views on the world. I absolutely loved the chemistry and banter between Nellie and Steele. Watching their story unfold and see all the crazy twists and turns that were in was priceless. This is a must read if you are looking for good humor, some definite romance or and you canā€™t forget a single dad! LOL I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Sexy, fun read. Steele is the man we all dream of. Nellie and Steeleā€™s chemistry is apparent from their meeting in the store. Their banter is funny, the love scenes are super hot and sexy. Definitely plan to read it again this weekend for a second dose.

Finding love in the produce aisle. I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review. Grocery shopping was never more interesting, than meeting your dream man, in the grocery store produce aisle. This is how Nellie meets Steele. She mistakenly thinks that he is a single father, and reprimands him for having no control on his kids. They banter back and forth, and she leaves frustrated. Her best friend talks her into writing a letter to him, which she does and leaves it in his grocery cart. He calls her, and they begin to banter again, with ending in dinner plans. Nellie goes to his house, he pulls a prank on her, and they begin to develop an attraction. Date plans are made, but her best friend has a situation, and Nellie decides to help her friend. They attend a party, and it results that Steele is also at this party. They leave after, to go to his house, and they spend the night together, and awake professing their love for each other. Their relationship leads to a future HEA. Iā€™ve read several books by J. S. Cooper, and this one was great, like all the others have been. Her characters are well developed, the story flows well, with lots of romance. Iā€™ll always recommend her books.

Couldnā€™t even get through it. I usually love JS Cooper and I really enjoyed the first part of this series... but this book was terrible. The characters were both childish and unlike-able, and I didnā€™t feel like the main characters had any connection besides thinking each other was hot. They said ILY after 3 days, yes you heard that right DAYS. I stopped reading at 25%.... it was that bad for me. Definitely YA, even though the ages of the characters donā€™t suggest that.

Great book. Loved the bantering they did, I enjoyed this book fun and sexy. Great book

Fun, quirky read. This was another fun, quirky read by J.S. Cooper. Itā€™s about finding love in the grocery store and about jumping to conclusions based on appearances. He is a hot, widower with three kids, or is he? She jumps to a conclusion and that is the start of the craziness. This was another enjoyable read by Jaimie! I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

Donā€™t waste your money. Iā€™m sorry but this book was JUST TERRIBLE!! I feel bad for writing this bc I donā€™t like to say negative things but this book was so bad I felt the need to leave a review to warn readers. All the characters had the same personality, same sense of humor, and talked the same. Itā€™s like they were all the same person. The 2 main characters are ANNOYING and keep repeating questions back to each other and teasing each other to the point that is was repetitive. The dialogue was PAINFUL to get through. There was no depth to the characters or plot at all. This is by far the worst book Iā€™ve ever read. I wanted to just stop reading half way through but finished it bc I kept waiting for it to redeem itself somewhere. It never happened. I waited months to read this book too. So so disappointing.

Amazing read!!. Nellie meets Steele while grocery shopping and his kid runs into her with a shopping cart. He seems like such a jerk but she is attracted to him instantly. Their witty banter is hilarious and her best friend comes up with an idea to write him a letter. She drops the letter in his buggy and her whole life changes. I love This authors book and always read them as soon as they come out. This one did not disappoint!! I canā€™t wait to see what happens with her best friends, Shelby, next!!

Great story. I am loving this series. JS Cooper does not disappoint in her stories. Nellie and Steele are wonderful and love their bantering back and forth. Love how their relationship goes from arguing about his "parenting skills" to them having dinner and then eventually to a happily ever after. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Loved. I loved this couple they have chemistry throughout the pages. The storyline was fun and kept me entertained throughout the pages. Another worthy read by this author. I received a copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Fun book. This was such a fun and quirky read. I loved the sass that they had toward each other and the way they conventionally left things out. How fun the banter was to read. It had me chuckling at some of the zings. It really was a fun book to read!

Cracked me up!. First, I could not see myself doing a lot of the things that Nellie did to get Steeleā€™s attention. I loved Steeleā€™s humor, although somewhat warped. To me, Steele is the dream that every single female hope to find while in the grocery store. I feel Nellie lets Shelby push her around too much. I feel Nellie just wants her best friend to be as happy as she is, but I didnā€™t feel Nellie should have let Shelby push and talk her into the things that she does. I feel the banter in this book, like all that in this series, is more ā€œrealā€ than most authors put into their books. I look forwad to the rest of this series.

Which store can I find a Steele. I received this arc in exchange for an honest review and thatā€™s my aim. I have always enjoyed Ms Coopers books as I think sheā€™s an amazing storyteller/ writer, but this one was not one of my favourites sorry to say. I donā€™t like to write negative reviews as I know authors work so hard. The concept is an amazing one and this should have been a great book but to me it was just good. Loved Steeleā€™s character but found Nellie to be immature and repetitive. A lot of ā€œwhat do you mean? ā€œThroughout. Beautiful book cover/model.

Funny. I enjoyed this book I liked the back and forth between Steele and nelly. Who meet in a grocery store & then the fun begins. I didnā€™t however enjoy Shelby she really made me want to throat punch her. overall it was an enjoyable book I look forward to more work from this author I received and ARC for my honest opinion.

Absolutely Amazing. This is book six in The Inappropriate Bachelor's Series and it is Nellie and Steel's story and omg it is a definite must read. While Nellie is in the supermarket a little boy bangs the trolley into her she ends up ranting at the man involved but things didn't go as she planned so Nellie left a note in his trolley and that is what started there backwards and forwards texting but will it lead to anything romantic only time will tell. This book was so funny with there backwards and forwards banter and it makes you laugh which it what we all need. I couldn't put this book down as Nellie and Steel have a great connection and really hot chemistry that you can feel it sizzling of the pages of this book but will it be strong enough to help them to forward with a relationship and eventually a happy ending. This book was a real page turner and you have to keep reading to see what would happen next and I was definitely not disappointed with the outcome. J. S. Cooper is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will not be disappointed. I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this book.

Bumping Into Love. It is a lovely easy going story, with wonderful characters and captivating banter, that will take you through a myriad of emotions. The story held my interest from the first page to the last and I just couldnā€™t get enough of it. The chemistry between Steele and Nellie was undeniable and off the charts, and it seeped through the pages. The story was romantic, with funny moments and a little bit of drama. I would recommend this book to everyone. I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
