Great story. I am loving these stories but I do think they could use a little bit more length post-climax. There is such a great build and character development and then so few pages allotted after the culmination that it feels very stopped short! Otherwise absolutely great and I wish there was more.

Anna and Charmaine do not disappoint.. I have been so excited for this story and the finale did not let me down. I really enjoyed the descriptions of St. Petersburg and the smexy scenes were pretty great too! Lol. Alex is yummy and I adore a smart heroine like Kate! Great all around!

enjoyed for the most part. For the most part I enjoyed this story. It included elements that I want in a romance book. A jealous, possessive, and protective hero. No cheating and no sex with OP after meeting. Hot sexy times. Drama and suspense. HEA ending with an epilogue. There were only a few things that I didn't like about the story. For one it occasionally dragged. At times it included mundane details that took me out of the story, like details about the food being eaten including vegan yogurt or the things that Kate did on a daily basis while she was bored and in captivity. Also while I liked that the story had an HEA ending with an epilogue, the epilogue was too long for me. It seemed to drag as well. It would have been better if it had only been a few pages and didn't include another sex scene. I am not a clean romance girl and so I want romance books to include sexy times. However I don't need or even want them included in the epilogue.

Highly recommended & riveting story!. Loved reading the exciting and engaging conclusion to the White Nights series. When Alex brings Kate to Russia, it takes awhile for Kate to acclimate to being taken for her protection but when she thinks about something happening to Alex, she soon comes to his way of thinking. As danger and enemies surround them, Alex will do anything to protect Kate. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, full of mystery, suspense, and romance, and another outstanding series by Anna Zaires and Charmaine Pauls.

Amazing!. Loved the conclusion to Alex and Kate’s story. This book was filled with romance, angst and a whole lot of twist and turns. Kate was so fierce and independent, she did not understand The depth of Alex’s love, or how he willing to protect her at all cost. What an amazing ending to a great story. Anna and Charmaine, I need more!

Midnight Days starts exactly where White Night left us… with Alex all but kidnapping Kate and flying off to Russa. Kate may handle anything that may roll into the ER where she works, but she is unprepared to handle a man like Alex. He is danger personified, ruthless, beyond wealthy, controlling, and all wrapped up in a drop-dead gorgeous package. “I’ve made her a part of my world by falling in love with her. I’ve dragged her into the filth, and there’s no going back. Not now. Not ever. She’s been mine and I’ve been hers from the moment I laid my eyes on her.” Kate and Alex’s story is a complicated one and a bit angsty at times. It was beautiful to watch a man like Alex, who has never had love in his life, deal with all the emotions that come with an all-consuming love like the one he feels for Kate. He is more than willing to turn his world upside for the woman he loves, and in turn, he turns Kate’s world upside-down. I could feel Kate’s frustration with losing her independence and how she became bewildered and felt betrayed by some of Alex’s behavior. But Kate was not perfect either; at times, I wanted to shake her and yell, TALK TO HIM! But even with all their issues, they never stopped loving each other, and their chemistry between the sheets was explosive. And I love every minute of it! I felt that Midnight days was a bit darker with more danger and suspense than in the first book. Alex and Kate’s story is filled with secrets, betrayal, heartbreak, but in the end, a love that is well worth it all. I even loved the villains, which provide some twists and turns. This story captivated me from start to finish, through the magnificent highs and the agonizing lows. Soooo good!. This book truly tugged at my emotional strings. Anna sent me on a roller coaster of emotions. I was angry, sad, happy, and wanted so bad to fight for Kate’s needs. Man o man, Alex was such a stubborn, chauvinistic, non-listening, non-trusting fool. When a book make you want to slap the male lead into reality, you know it’s a really great book. Major claps for Kate sticking up for herself from time to time. The main message I took away from this book was that honesty gains trust. Way to go Anna, you never disappoint. Awesome read, can’t wait for what’s next!

Midnight Days. Great book! Alex and Katherine have a heated but dangerous romance. Good plot development and suspense.

1 part romance 3 parts “action thriller”. The backstory with crime bosses, mafia, hackers totally overshadows the romance in this book.

Get ready for sexy Alex. I was so glad when this book came out. Although it wasn’t a cliff hanger, I was on pins and needles. I was really impressed with the overall plotting. The settings were amazing, and make me think I need to add Russia to my bucket list. Alex was a more sedate, and calm alpha. He was really smooth with how he handled women mostly including her mom. I like the heroine but she annoyed me a lot at the beginning. She spent a lot of time being mad at him. I still love her mom, she is representing for all the older women out there. I LOVED the crossover. I was hoping something happened like a team up. People were always afraid of Alex but he never did anything to warrant it. I never saw him act crazy. He made threats that’s it. I really liked the ending. This book was super hot. I couldn’t look away and got really annoyed when someone interrupted me while reading. There was a time or two when I had to suspend my disbelief but I can’t take any stars away for that. I love both these talented writers. I’m a fan of both and I will devour whatever they write. Keep up the great work.

Alex & Kate are one of my fave couples from these authors. Alex and Kate have been one of my favorite couples from Anna Zaires and Charmaine Pauls so I've been eagerly awaiting the conclusion of their story. Alex is just as lovingly obsessed with Kate as he has been from the beginning, and the authors even created an opportunity for his delicious possessiveness in circumstances you wouldn't think had one. I loved the darker edge of this second book and wanted to yell at Kate that I would take her place (Take me, Alex!) as she struggled between her fierce independence and Alex's controlling and protective behavior. With a beautiful setting, a great climax to their story, plenty of steam and signature clean writing and editing, this duet was a pleasure to read. As always, looking forward to more books from these authors.

Men!. This is the continuing story of Alex and Kate. I loved the first book but only like this one. Men are so freaking pigheaded sometimes. Instead of trusting Kate he “protects” her to death. He sees that she is upset, mad, frustrated and becoming resentful but still doesn’t tell her what is going on until she makes the typical bad decision. Sometimes men make things more complicated than they have to be and they think women are the ones who are hard to understand. Sheesh! Men! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

These Midnight Days were memorable.. After the ending of book one, White Nights, can what Kate thinks Alex broke be repaired? Book one was about Kate’s world, but this book was all about Alex’s world which I loved. I loved delving deeper into who he was and how he got there. He was as powerful, dangerous, determined, protective and possessive as ever, and I soaked up every delicious moment of it. Alex and Kate were just as hot together in this book as they were in the first. Kate frustrated me a lot in this book although these authors made me understand where she was coming from. The writing and flow of this book was deliberate and steady. By the time I finally reached the finale action I was on the edge of my seat with tears in my eyes. All in all, a memorable read from these two authors. I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review that I am voluntarily leaving.

Perfection. We now have the conclusion to Book one White Nights and as you would expect Midnight Days was just phenomenal, the writing was flawless, the story was full of action, drama, twists and turns and betrayals. The chemistry between Alex and Kate was even hotter, you can feel the tension between them as you read through the pages, they both had a stubbornness and anxiety about them but for different reasons, however there obsessive compulsion for each other was never in doubt. This is definitely a page turner with truly believable and likeable characters with a storyline to match, what more could you want from a book, these two authors together are just amazing. I was given this book as an ARC by the authors in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was totally happy to provide.

Addictive reading. So finally part 2 (I know, I know it’s only been about 5 weeks but it felt longer) and yes you have to read the previous book White Nights first. So let me just say this was a fabulous and addictive read….once I’d got going. I should probably just leave it there but… Okay so I struggled a little early on. It’s a difficult situation I appreciate that. Kate is in love with the man who’s basically kidnapped her and is holding her captive. So yes there’s tension and a long adjustment period. But I hated the lack of communication between the main two. Yes I understood the reasons but that doesn’t mean I liked it. I’m making a mess of trying to explain what I didn’t like. Kate is a strong, intelligent and independent female. She’s fallen for a strong controlling man. Oh look I’m just going to say it. Kate annoyed me at times. Wow that feels better. It was such a shock as well because Charmaine’s females don’t annoy me. They’re brilliant all the time. Anyway once I’d got past this I was hooked. I couldn’t read fast enough and I loved it. Would I recommend this book? Yes I definitely would. I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by the author.

Midnight forever. A great story from these 2 writers. It had everything- suspense, great backstory, angst and erotic scenes as these 2 find a love that works. Love love xx
