Beginnings by WJ May. Jeez 🙄 how is the author A BEST SELLING one when all her books are basically the same? And the narrative so poor forgetting a thought that had been laid down before .. I honestly think WJ May is actually many ghost writers raised by trump lovers & thinking banal crap is the way forward in todays USA! Same old heterosexual nonsense tat empowers queens & kings as being at the top of the food chain everything the original settlers hated & yet the republic is run in the same way! The rich white folk at the top being so generous with those not like them - Aaaagh it’s all just AWFUL 😣

Beginnings. DONT BOTHER LOOK AT THE GAP IN BETWEEN RELEASES TO READ THE NEXT BOOK?? With the amount you squeeze in between it won’t mean the same as a continuous series but same old. Same female, same male then the fae who is the funniest, wise and warrior of the bloody series whom the lead man should have been about but no, same bloodlines in exactly the same positions. The author doesn’t have the ability to change her concepts and isn’t inclusive when it comes to races which puts her BEHIND EVERY other without really. Same old scenario, the girl and the shifter then the fae, but the girl should be with the Fae this time around as she were with the vamp the last time. But that being said, good book and good first book but I wonder if there will be anyone of colour in this series or another total whitewashing. Lacks diversity and culture, lacks difference between all her work and she doesn’t listen or doesn’t care as an without which makes her books exclusive
