Good premise, no real depth or story arch.. This story is what happens when you combine Captain America with a Furry but then every conflict lacks any real challenge or danger or sacrifice. The hero’s biggest struggle is wrapping his head around the society he’s now apart of. There’s is nothing that pushes his personal development beyond going from zero to hero. The books spends more time focusing on the characters wanting to court the hero than even implying the hero is in danger during the multiple battles to the death. It’s one descriptive scene from becoming a furry romance novel. Story also never really had a climax either bc there was never anything remotely climatic happening. Cover art is really good tho and I’d love to see there characters in a developed story some time. Maybe with out the focus on mating…

I enjoyed this read immensely and found it VERY hard to put down. Kind of a furry knight errant tale. Started fast and maintained a great pace throughout
