As always Evangeline’s stories are filled with fantastical other worlds, hot heroes and sexy heroines and unimaginable villains. This is a short exciting, emotional read with new worlds and characters. Incorporating the new species of Kindred the Monstrum Kindred, A beast kindred ,Bard, and the leader of the Monstrum, Rarev, embark on a mission to find a much needed mineral,Yillium. They need the Yilliumm to combat a threatening horrible war with the Darklings. The Monstrum are now orbiting and protecting the earth with the Mothership. During the mission they come across a horrid flesh/slave market that is about to deliver a small female, Makenna, to a horrible Trollox. The Trollox do unspeakable practices to breed females which ultimately ends with their demise. Makenna is terrified and gains the attention of Bard, who manages saves. Once they finally establish communication, the female is trying to get Bard to claim her and save her from the Trollox and the Ripening (something females go through on her planer). Bard feels he is too old for the female although he is drawn to her. He has also sworn to never Bond to another after losing his first mate. Bard is a bit of an idiot and of course needs divine intervention as well as an insistent female to help them overcome the many obstacles before the HEA. Hopefully next we have Rarev’s story as he has many feline characteristics (Lion).

A heart warming Read. I loved the the storyline. This story had capture my attention from the first chapter,I knew that this story would have me until the last page. I never was bored by the story. The Main characters was well written I truly love Natalie and how her ability to write great content. Overall this story meet my expectations and more.
