Single dad romance. This is an age gap, brothers best friend and single dad romance between Cameron and Natalie. This is told in duel POV by Cam and Natalie but we also get to see Gauge's POV, the best friend and Natalie's brother. In this story Natalie is 24 and has been watching Cam's 6-year-old daughter for three years. Cam is a very dedicated father and firefighter, and he is coming out of a bad marriage. But he is in lust with his daughter's caretaker, Natalie. But there are obstacles and a big one is her brother, Gauge. Honestly, I did not understand why Gauge was an issue. He loves and respects Cam and Cam is this awesome dad and not a player at all. But he also is in a lot of pain and recovering from a painful accident, so I did understand not wanting to stress him out. Natalie on one hand is very mature and a wonderful caretaker of Trinity, Cam's daughter. But on the other hand, she is at a crossroads in her life, not knowing what she wants to do with it. I loved that she freely gave her heart to Cam and Trinity, but she also was confused about what she wanted to do with her life. I really loved that she was not 100% together. Cam tries his best to be the best dad, friend and boss to Natalie, Gauge and Trinity. I loved that he opened his eyes and started to see that he deserved more in life and seeing the treasure that was Natalie. I adored this story so much. The author is really awesome at creating these vulnerable heroes but also making them very strong as well. I am truly loving this series and cannot wait to read Chance's story next. Combust. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it. While this is the second book in the series, you don't have to read the prior one to fully understand and enjoy this one. This is written in a multiple person format. Getting secondary characters, as well as the main characters thoughts, really make for a more enjoyable read. I feel connected to the characters when I can read their thoughts. I love this author. Her stories are well written and they just draw you in. The characters are so humanistic that it is hard to believe that they are just characters! How can you not love a single dad firefighter?! Ms. Briscoe delivers these fantastic single dad stories. I hate to see them end. These are sexy stories so just a word of caution. I would highly recommend this story to anyone over the age of consent!

Combust. Cameron is a single father and Lieutenant at Bradford Station Company One. His wife divorced him and gave up her parental rights when Trinity was three. Natalie spent her time while in school on her softball skills wanting to play in the Olympics. She has watched Trinity since she was three and has loved her ever since. This has insecurities, disappointment, family, drama and of course sizzling hot romance. Well written storyline with characters that will pull at your heartstrings. I loved this addition to the Bradford Station series.

Single dad, firefighter. Single dad, firefighter. I liked Cameron, the single dad to Trinity who is raising his six year old daughter with the help of Natalie after his wife divorced him. He gets an eyeful and that is the impetus that changes their dynamic. It’s been building but now they act on it. Recommend.

🫶. Natalie and Cameron are literally so cute :3 This book is such a simple quick read such a heartwarming book, to Natalie caring for Trinity from when she was little to becoming her mom <3. Cameron has already been through a lot and for him to go through having to raise a daughter on his own I can't even imagine how alone he must've felt. Favorite scene hands down had to of been when Trinity called Natalie her mom for the first time. I'd love to see what their future has in store for them, maybe a sibling for Trinity 👀

Single dad firefighter. Book two in the Bradford Station series features Cameron, a single dad firefighter and Natalie, a family friend who is now nanny to Cam's little girl. Natalie is younger than Cameron, plus his best friend's little sister, so we've got a lot of tropes going on in one story. This isn't a bad thing by any means. I love Natalie and her relationship with Trinity, who's been lacking a mother figure most of her life. Natalie fills that, while always being cognizant of the fact that she and Cam are just friends...although she's always dreamed of more. Cameron finally sees her in the same light, but he's also shackled by loyalty to her brother, and he's never risking a relationship again. That, of course, changes, and they do embark on at least a physical connection at first. Naturally, someone comes along to pop that bubble and strife ensues. I liked this storyline and the characters, especially Natalie. It was well written and kept me engaged and turning pages while I read it in one sitting. As a longtime reader of romance, nothing is going to "surprise" you about the plot, but it will definitely keep you entertained. I love these kinds of stories because while there's drama, it's not so angst-filled that it's a constant roller coaster ride. Both types have their place and my ereader is filled with them all. Combust was the right book at the right time for me. I'll be back for book three...and any other Laramie Briscoe book she's working on. She quickly became a must-read author for me.

Ticked all my boxes. Laramie Briscoe is a fairly new author to me but after reading single dad Cameron and Natalie’s friends to lovers journey that’s about to change because I need more of her adorable characters. Nat has been the babysitter since Cam’s wife walked out and handed over sole parenting to him but this is not just a friends to lovers journey it’s also a best friends sibling love story so there is something for every romance lover. Nat and Cam have known each other for ever and they share a strong bond but will either of them be brave enough to cross the line and risk their friendship as well as the friendship that Cam has with her brother…..one click to find out now. This book has all the feels, it’s a beautifully written love story with characters I fell hard and fast for. I adored Nat and Cam stole a piece of my heart but it was the bond and the relationship that Nat built with the Cam’s adorable little daughter Trinity that really melted my heart and took this book to another level. After reading Combust I need more from the Bradford Station clan and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Loved it. I was so excited to dive into this book. I loved Cam and Nat together and Trinity, she was so freaking awesome! The story itself was written so well I seriously just wanted to keep reading.

A Second Chance. A heartwarming story. Chance is a single father scared to love again because of his past. Natalie is his best friend’s sister who has helped raise his daughter since she was three. Suddenly Chance finds himself looking at Natalie in a different way but he’s scared to take a leap to make it forever. Natalie is is true care giver and loves Trinity as if she was her own. Chance is a great dad but is finding it hard to get over his past and make a new family for himself and Trinity. This was book 2 of the series but can be read as a stand alone. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Worth every moment of the wait. I have been anxiously looking forward to this book from the moment I finished reading the first in the series, and it was worth every moment of the wait. Cam and Nat have known each other almost forever, after all, he’s best friends with her brother. For the last three years Natalie has poured her heart and soul into the Hines family, looking after Cameron’s daughter after his wife left them. When Cam finally wakes up to the fact that his best friend’s sister is more than the pest that used to follow them around and the angel that’s holding his family together, he also faces a bunch of emotional scar tissue he’s been avoiding for the last three years. Their story is beautiful and sweet while also being spicy, angsty, and dramatic. I loved seeing the pair of them realize the feelings they have for one another. I also really liked that we got to see what’s going on from the point of view of a couple of Cam’s station mates. If the next book is going to be what I think it is, I’m as desperate to get my hands on it as I was this one. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Grey's Promotions.
