Good overall but a bit sad. Good storyline and followed along with the first book in the series. I really enjoyed reading Adrian and Isolde relationship development. A good amount of heart breaks in this book compared to the first in the series. This worries me because I don’t enjoy books with sad endings.

Fast read. It was a great and fast read!

I’ve this series…. I love the series and the world she’s created! I am struggling a Littke with Isolde however in this book. Her immaturity is jarring in this book. It does help to provide empathy as we understand the other characters stories but it’s difficult. I hope she matures in the next one! Love Adrian!

I couldn’t put this down!!!. I loved this. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire read!! The steamy love between Adrian and Isolde. The unknown of truly not knowing what might happen! Book 3 please come out soon!!!! The cliff hangers kill me!

A little crazy. I loved the first book and the developing story but this book seems to throw so many different elements all at once. I don’t think it’s bad but I wish a lot of the situations that came up were paced out far more.

Meh. Following KBB I felt like this book was trying to be something that it wasn’t. I DNF and ultimately just skipped to the last chapter and even then I was disappointed.

My new favorite supernatural romance author!. I have be devouring supernatural romance books for close to 6 months. Of the 30+ books I have read, these 2 books ranks at the top. I adore the characters and their gradual development and growth. I also am happy that there is little filler content as many authors use, like when other authors describe every room and costume ad nauseam at every opportunity. Some authors fluff for page count, not St. Clair. She is my new favorite author.
