Brad and Shantal. When Shantal and Brad first meet, he’s a cocky jerk to her, thinking she wants to be with him. She was just trying to return his wallet. Later that night, she’s introduced to him and she is her sassy self. Brad protects himself with inappropriate comments and we’ll learn why, as we’re reading. Luckily, Shantal isn’t afraid to call him on it. If you’re looking for a good story that has amazing characters , some laugh out loud moments, and some steamy love scenes, all while leading up to Shantal learning about Brad’s heartbreaking childhood, you’ll enjoy this story. I ended up loving Brad, but I wanted to bop him upside his head a time or two, lol. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.

An entertaining addition to the series.. Fourth book in the Cupid in the City series and my favorite by far. Brad is an arrogant, hot football player and when Shantel meets him sparks fly but now the good kind. He is fascinated by her and can’t help but persuade her to got with him. What happens next is a highly entertaining sports romance read with greats characters that you will be cheering for their forever. I enjoyed how their romance played out with some sweet moments that will have you going awww. A definite must read!

Cute rom/com. Shantal and Brad met one night and Brad Chambers as he likes to refer to himself as, couldn’t let go. This was a nice addition to the series. Shantal with her trust and relationship issues always getting in the way of moving forward. Never seeing what was right in front of her face the whole time. I loved how we got to see the previous characters from the other books and what they were up to as well. I can’t wait for Sam’s book coming out since we got a same tease of him. Another good one.

An amazing read!. This book was a great read! I am a big fan of J.S Cooper books I’m pretty sure I have read almost everyone that she has written! I love how she is able to keep writing books in this series and is able to keep the books from being the same and yet still is able to give us the characters from the other books that we love. In this book we are introduced to Shelby and Brad. Shelby is just an ordinary girl trying to find the happily ever after like the ones her friends found but is scared of heartbreak so she opts for one night stands instead. Brad an extremely hot and famous football player that had an awful childhood and refuses to get close to anyone! These two have chemistry that everyone can see. But can they let go of the past and the fear and take the leap? I recommend you reading this book and seeing how everything turns out. Happily ever after or happily never after.

Good read. I really enjoyed reading Shantal and Brad’s story. He is a cocky, alpha football player and she is a receptionist looking for love. They meet at a party and end up having a one night stand, which then turns into two, then three nights. She says each time is the last time, but then she sees him and he talks his way back in. Good, funny read that I would highly recommend. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

Wonderful story. A very enjoyable read with characters who are crafted to engage the emotions of the reader. He was equally unlikable given his attitude and likable given his later actions. I loved her character from the beginning. An entertaining story that had me hooked from the beginning and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Sexy and Witty. I loved this book! The storyline is fun and sexy. The male character is gorgeous and an alpha male. Shantal is a lucky girl but she is smart ! A great read with a fast paced romance with steamy love scenes ❤️.

Amazing story. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review. This is Shantal's story and it is a great one. She runs into Brad and he is arrogant and thinks everyone is after him because he is famous and rich. This story has wonderful characters, fun banter, best friends who always have your back. Shantal finally gets Brad to open up and they finally admit that they want to be together. So glad that they finally get their happily ever after.

:-). I was excited to read about Shantel finally finding her other half. Brad was a lot more than I expected but shantel was exactly what he needed. You definitely need to read this story.

All it took was one look and he was hooked. Amazing.. NFL football player, Brad Chambers, puts his moves on Shantal from the very beginning. He keeps hitting on her and she keeps backing off. Brad is so full of himself, thinking all women want him, is upset when he finds out Shantal is not grovelling at his feet, or asking for expensive gifts. He uses lines on her that only a man wanting just a hook up would say. But once she gets to know the real Brad, things really start hopping. A rich, gorgeous, kind, giving man groveling at the feet of a receptionist to get her to go out with him. It is amazing to read. Great, great book.

Fun Sexy Sports Romance. I loved this book. Brad and Shantell are great together and have wonderful chemistry. It was a great quick read. I was into this story I wished it was longer.

Brad and Shantal a love story. Brad Chambers hot arrogant football player and Shantal hot receptionist clash at first. Brad is determined to date Shantal and she is determined he is not. Their story is funny and enjoyable to read. Kudos J.S.Cooper for another great read.

Awesomeness. Loved loved loved this story of Brad, the a$$hole and sweet but "I'm not taking your crap" Shantel! This was a very sweet story and once Shantel realized why Brad was "the Brad Chambers" she understood him just a little more

Must Read. J.S. Copper ended this series with such a great book. I loved these two and was completely entertained with Shantel and Brad from beginning to end. They have a great chemistry together, even though Brad comes off over-the-top about himself. Their relationship starts off very HOT and these two just keep revving things up as their 3 night stand continues. I loved that we also got more of the friendship of the girls from work, which just added to all the humor and drama that was all going on in this story. This book will have you laughing, spark your emotions and make you happy in the end. Each book in this series has been so funny and entertaining. If you haven’t yet begun reading any of them, you’re missing out. I received a book for an honest review

Another great in the series. Brad is a gorgeous and conceited football player that knows he’s good looking. Shantal is looking for love, but overlooks Brad. They have explosive sex and share funny banter. This is a wonderful fast paced romance and another great read in this series. I was given a Advanced Readers Copy for an honest review.

So dang hot. Omg omg omg! Y’all this book was so good. The cover just says it all =) Brad is a sexy football player but very stuck on himself. Shantel is strong willed smart woman. Opposites attract. There is great chemistry but Shantel can’t stand Brad’s attitude. Brad is a player but Shantel can’t stay away. I wished JS Copper would turn her amazing books into movies. She is hands down my favorite author.

PS You would be so Lucky. I loved this story and highly recommend it. The author did a fantastic job showing how their pasts was still affecting their lives. On the surface Shantal is looking for love and Brad just wants a good time but there is much more going on. Everything you want in a summer read!. This book is the perfect mix of fun, sexy, exciting, and laugh out loud moments! Good thing it’s summer time because I literally read it by the pool in one day!!! Don’t miss out on your chance to enjoy the journey of Brad and Shantel. This whole series is super fun and are all great reads - highly recommend this and the others if you haven’t read them!

Lucky to find love. In this last book of the series and Shantal is the last one of her friends who has not found her forever relationship. You see Shantel believes in real love, she wants her happily ever after. Someone to settle down with, have children and make a real life with. While it’s okay to have fun here and there she doesn’t want to be wasting her time on just any old guy who doesn’t have the same priorities as her. So when she meets this super arrogant jock Brad, who is a superstar football player to top everything off; she can’t conceivably believe that he could possibly be any bit serious about him having a of relationship, especially after all the offhanded comments that he continues to make when they have been together. You will have to read to see how things turn out for Brad and Shantal. Is he her forever man or will she continue to be single? Maybe he is a different man from what he appears to be on the surface and she just has to see something more? I found this a to be a fun and exciting series full of laughs and great ah ha moments. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Another quick and fun read. Shantal and Brad’s chemistry is undeniable and off the charts and they were a fun couple to get to know. It is amazing how one’s opinion of someone can be totally different based on what we think we know of them but when you see where they have been and what they have survived, you can actually see the “real person.” I am glad Shantal got her HEA and it never hurts when the story includes HOT MEN AND STEAMY SEX!!!

Resisting the player. I received this ebook ARC, from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review. J. S. Cooper has written another great book, about a heartfelt romance between an obnoxious man, and a feisty female. She handled the entire story beautifully, and made this reader completely enjoy this book. Brad is a highly paid professional football player, but he has lived a rough childhood and covers that sadness, with an obnoxious attitude. His insecurities, make him super outgoing. He has been living the typical bachelor sports hero life, until he meets Shantal. Shantal is a receptionist at a business owned by her best friends boyfriend. She is living the single life, and is surrounded by her best friends at her job. They have a close relationship, and support each other completely. When Shantal first meets Brad, she is completely turned off by his attitude, but then the second time that they meet, an attraction is immediately mutual. They decide on a one night stand, and this becomes more than a one night stand. Even with Brad’s obnoxious attitude, there develops more feelings between the couple. Their first date turns into a disaster, and Shantal learns a lot about Brad’s childhood, and why he is so obnoxious. They resolve their differences, and finally reach their HEA. As always, I will recommend this book.

Brad is a cocky player and Shantal is a broken hearted woman who is trying to find love. Their banter and witt is off the charts if these two could ever get in sync and let their guard down. Love their story

Sexy and funny beach read. I laughed out loud twice while reading this book. The sexy protagonist is sassy. She wants to find The One, as have her friends, but she doesn't want an arrogant player. She can't keep away from him because their chemistry is off the charts. These two characters both grow as people. Do they grow together? Read this enjoyable book to find out more about their relationship.

Another great book from this fantastic series!!. I really enjoyed reading this book. Brad thinks he is Gods gift to women and tries to use his fame to get Shantel to go home with him. However, he soon realises that Shantel does not care one bit who he is. Shantel, on the other hand, tries to come up with all these excuses as to why Brad isn’t her perfect match. She finally overcomes her own insecurities and realises that Brad isn’t the superficial guy she thinks he is. While it isn’t as funny as others in the series, I still enjoyed the banter between Shantel and Brad. Definitely recommend reading.

Enjoyable read. This author never fails to have storyline that has humor drama and romance that makes them very believable. I can’t tell you what the book is about without giving anything away except to say it’s well worth the read. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Funny Read. The fourth book in this series. One feisty female and an obnoxious male who loves talking about himself in third person. Humorous read with a mix of angst and drama where the male character has been living with a tragedy from his childhood. Recommended to read over a weekend

Loved it. Shantal and Brad have chemistry leaking from the pages, banter, steamy scenes, flaring tempers and constant dirty flirting. But they’re hidden layers to Brad that need to be explored before Shantal gets her HEA. Cute, sassy, steamy and sweet, a great read and another excellent addition to the series.

Delightful. T his new Absolutely Must read book in this wonderful series will make you laugh and cry, it is so much fun to read. The opposite attract between principal characters in Shantal and Brad’s story is filled with so much back and forth response it will make your head spin, chemistry and tension at its best. Tantalizing, alluring and Witty!!. Brad and Shantal’s story had me smiling and enjoying the bickering and bantering between the two delightful characters.
