Good read. Definitely not a traditional story. Each chapter seems to take itself into a short rant or rave about something pretty interesting. I liked it. Breaks the mold of a traditional book or story.

Absolutely Extraordinary. I love his and his sister's work with all my heart. Out of them both, this is my favorite book behind the Sedaris family.

Laughed out loud. I read this book about 10 years ago. I made the mistake of laying down to read, a ritual for me because I can't read 3 pages of any book without dozing off. Needless to say, I did not drift off to sleep as planned. I was laughing so hard I literally rolled out of bed. Favorite chapter? "Can't kill the rooster".

Favorite!. Although hard to choose one, this is my favorite Sedaris book, maybe because of Jesus Shaves. If you are just getting into this author, this is a great starting point.

5 stars. Hilarious. Definitely recommend for 13+. I first read it when I was 14 and I can see myself rereading it when I'm 40.
