Poor Effort. I’ve read many many Robin Cook books. This was a poor effort. Weak plot, uninteresting sub plots. Ending was a fairy tale.

Underwhelmed. I've read quite a number of books by Robin Cook and I was pretty disappointed with this one. I don't know if it was just me but I found that the usually likable characters were incredibly annoying. I found myself putting the book down because I would be so irritated with their behavior and actions, specifically, without giving anything away, two new characters and one recurring. The second issue that I kept noticing were glaring grammatical errors. I don't know if it was a failure of the book's editor or if mistakes were made when transferring the print book to digital (I'm unaware of how that process works). Either way, it's the worst I've seen as far as simple grammar, in all the digital books I've read to date. By no means am I an expert but the difference between "there" and "their" is obvious to a seasoned writer such as Cook. Also the plot could have been good but it wasn't delved into as much as I would have liked, meaning there could have been more substance there but it seemed kind of rushed and certain things were just glanced over.

Pretty good. This book is close to making a believer out of me!

Intervention. As usual, Dr. Robin Cook did it again. Another detective thriller with a medical twist. Nicely done teaming with the Vatican's recent problem. At the same time, respecting the Catholic's belief about the assumption of our beloved Mother. Secondly, alternative medicine is not yet proven to be effective, the story gave us the opportunity to think twice about it. Excellent!

Intervention. Not what I expected. Scattered and so predictable ,especially the ending.

Intervention. Not near as good as some of his others. A little disappointed.
