Before the Dawn. A brilliant account of how genetics compliments the study of human evolution. It's the kind of book that you want to read again and again to make sure you capture all the elements that Wade recounts so clearly. A really useful research tool if studying this complicated field. More please, Mr Wade.

Excellent. All of that evolution stuff they taught is essentially wrong. Humans have evolved, but Homo Sapiens did not evolve from homo erectus nor homo neanderthalensis, but killed them off! Will upset everything you were taught, and at the same time proves the existence of Adam and Eve!

Fascinating. This book is a fascinating account of how modern advances in genetics is allowing us to learn things about our ancient past. From the first humans leaving Africa and spreading around the globe, to language and evolution, the book is filled with amazing leaps in knowledge based on recent DNA studies.

Before the Dawn. Very good book. Would it be possible to have as an update an electronic version with less irritating typos throughout the text? That would be greatly appreciated.

Highly recommended. I read the hard copy version a couple of years ago. The author combined recent genetic studies with the existing linguistic and archeological evidence of human migrations. Fascinating.
