AMAZING. The first book is mostly an introduction, you hear mostly about how the life is in Dullsville before all the good vampire stuff happens. (to the reviewer who said "zero creativity") These books are WAY better than Twilight & I hope whoever reads this review understands how AMAZING the book & the series is<333

Love love love!!!. I love all of Ellen's books in this Series!! I want to play the role of Raven if she makes movies! I know the character inside and out! To Ellen: you are an amazing writer and would love to portray the emotions and actions Raven had in this Series! You keep me so hooked I can't put the books down!

Best series. I read this series when it came out, I believe I was in middle school. Still, to this day, I am in love with it! Ellen has this great way of making your emotions flow with the beautiful language. Alexander is to die for, and my dream was to be confident and strong like Raven. Even the villains were relatable! All around an amazing book- and series. I was sad when I read the last book.. I still get very emotionally attached to the characters when I go back and reread them. :) I recommend it to everyone I come across! Great read, fantastic love story, thrilling action, heart wrenching betrayal.. And Vampires! Who could ask for more? :) -biggest fan Glitters

Vampires?! I think yes!!!!!. I absolutely love this series:) it's one of my favs! It's right up there with Stephenie Meyers "Twilight Saga"!!! It's an easy read with romantic twist!!!!! I loved it!!!!. It was a really good book, I couldn’t stop reading it and I managed to finish it in 1 day and like a few more pages in the morning after I woke up, but it was really interesting, I loved it!!! I need to collect all the books and then probably read maybe 3 or 4 times, you did a great job on this book!!! I am kind of like Raven, I’ve always wanted to be a vampire but sadly I’m not one... But my friends do say I look like one because I am pale, but some of my favorite colors are black, dark red, and purple, but enough about me,this book was like the best book I’ve read, I couldn’t stop reading it!

My dream.. Wish my life was like this. But I am nun so lucky. I remember reading thisin middle school an I fell in love with is. I got the second an the third. Finished thouse. Glad to see they made more cant wait to read them. Amazing books.

Cute. Let me start by saying that I'm a 30 year old woman, and I began this series with a full understanding that these books are written for early teenage girls (about 11-16 years old.) I love supernatural romance; in fact, I never read for pleasure until my mother gave me the "Twilight" Saga for Christmas in 2009. After that, I began actively seeking out other supernatural romance series, especially books involving vampires, (my favorites include *House of Night* 💜, *Vampire Academy*, *The Vampire Diaries*, *Vampire Journals*, the *Fallen* Saga-one of the best series!-the *Goddess Test* trilogy-a great modern take on Ancient Greek mythology!-and, most recently, I've been reading the *Shadow Falls* series, which I would highly recommend to young supernatural romance fans! As for the *Vampire Kisses* series, it's a cute series that is perfect for a young reader, as it does not depict any graphic violence, sexual content, or any of the more adult-themed aspects seen in some of the other good supernatural series's, (vampires are, after all, a predatory species, and can easily been portrayed with excessive blood, violence, death, and sexuality). I really did enjoy these books, however, they are very predictable, the characters don't have a great amount of depth. Alexander is a very plain character. The only real interesting thing about him is that he is a vampire. Besides that, he appears to be your typical "tall-dark-handsome", misunderstood, outsider with a heart of gold. He's not a character I would swoon over. And, while I like Raven's spunk, she's also a very typical character type: "rebellious", feisty, the classic anti-conformer with a shy/nerdy, but caring best friend. Their relationship is a bit to obvious to me. An idyllic, small-town (I'm not even going to start on the town being named "Dullsville"; or her aunt living in "Hipsterville"... I mean, come on!) girl obsessed with vampires just happens to meet one in aforementioned middle-of-nowhere town? And, of course, the one vampire she meets is basically straight from her dreams. It's just a bit to easy in my opinion. The character personalities, (or lack thereof,) have me wondering if Raven would have any desire to be with Alexander if he wasn't a vampire. And these are only the tip of the iceberg... But enough of my nitpicking. As irritating as some of the plot holes and character development can be to me, I want to make it clear that these books are worth reading, (although $10 for one is pushing the limit for me... I don't know if they're worth that price... That's a little under $90 for the series.) If you're an adult, like me, and you're looking for an easy, quick, light-toned introduction into the world of supernatural romance novels, or you're looking for a vampire series without the usual dark tones associated with vampires, I'd check out this series. You should be able to finish the book in an afternoon, as they're only about 200-300 pages each. I do have to comment about the reviews that say that this series is: 1)"better than 'Twilight'", 2)"The best books EVER WRITTEN!!!", and 3)that "they should make them into a movie". 1) *just to state a few* "Twilight" had a MUCH deeper and wider range of characters and their development, an immensely better storyline, real action sequences, and villains who are actually deserving of the tittle, as opposed to characters like Jagger, who is more troublemaker that evil... 2) The writing is basic; nothing special. In fact, "nothing special" pretty much sums up my view on the "Vampire Kisses" series as a whole. (Although, I can easily understand why teenage girls would believe it to be an amazing story...) 3) This series should never be turned into a movie. It is in no way strong enough a story to be successful on film. Hell, look at what happened with "Vampire Academy"! That series is absolutely wonderful in print with a very strong storyline, and yet it was butchered when turned into a movie because some moron thought it would be a good idea to turn it into "Mean Girls" with vampires! Yes, the books have a lot of funny moments, but the overall tone is dramatic, almost dark with a huge emphasis on having really strong female characters with fiercely loyal friendships; the story just happens to be set at a school. If the movie industry could ruin a story as strong and well-done as "Vampire Academy", it would DESTROY "Vampire Kisses". Try to remember, it is what it is. These books aren't literary masterpieces, or a vampiric version of "50 Shades of Grey". They are, instead, relatively innocent, cute, playful, witty, and even a bit cliché, but don't be surprised to find them leaving you with a smile on your face. Just as long as you don't expect too much out of them, you'll probably find the "Vampire Kisses" series to be a nice, guilty pleasure read.

READ IT!!!. I've read the whole series and it is SOOO worth it... if you're into the romantic vampire kind of books. Alexander is the dreamy boy that you've always wanted as your own :) it's so amazing!!!

Vampire kisses is the best. Gosh I remember the moment I opened the book. This book is by far one of my favorites as a teen. I couldn't put the book down for a moment. The story line is just so mysterious and good. I love the romance the two have and how much it drew me into reading all the other books. Best one out of all of them. <3

Great book. This was so fun to read and it went by so fast! It is really easy to get into this series once you read the first few! Although it's about vampires, it's totally different from Twilight, but I think that everyone would enjoy reading it!!!!

A big guilty pleasure. To be honest while I actually really enjoy this series, I think it's actually really bad. Read the whole series, not gonna spoil the ending, but overall poorly develop characters, nearly all of them are either 2-dimensional or 1-dimensional, poorly developed relationship between Raven and Alexander, typical plots with predictable endings, yeah it's not something I recommend. It is a quick read though so not too much time is being spent reading these books. But I won't lie I've read the whole series more than once. It's a weird eye pleaser but man I could go on about the things I actually really dislike about this series. Mainly having to do with the main characters. Even though Raven's suppose to be the open-minded, nonjudgemental main character in the series she's actually quite the opposite. Just because you make every other character in this series pretty much Satan's demons from hell doesn't make Raven in anyway the better character. Alexander, though better, is such a blank slate. I can't really describe anything that interesting about him. The stories happen mainly because of him but other than that, he's really not that interesting to me. Pretty much just cookie cutter perfect boyfriend material for the ladies reading. Which I'm not saying it's bad for a writer to write something simply for the ladies, it's just not done that well in my eyes. However, if you do enjoy pretty typical stories that are a quick read, you may enjoy this. Heck you may like some of the characters. I enjoy it in an ironica manner how I think it's actually quite bad, but I could read it over and over again.

This book is completely amazing words cannot describe it I have seen good books but this series is the best not to mention the amazing alexander and his amazing adventurous girlfriend raven. I believe this book is personally amazing.i think this series should be made a movie with ben Barnes as alexander and a girl who soulfully can play a romantic goth theme not to mention have a girly-goth friend named Becky. This book has put words out of my mouth and I can match my life and ravens so similar.I hope that these books make it to the top!

Vampire Kisses. This is the best book I have ever read. I love how Raven and Alexander kiss every page. I also love how the characters are so stupid and dumb. I think that you should write a whole series about vampires. ( And it MUST be insulting). Ellen Shreiker, I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!6 stars!!!! No sarcasm BTW
