Just okay. I am not tempted to read any more of this series. Pale I imitation go a good mystery.

Great Read. Was pleasingly surprised, I was not familiar with this writer but so glad I am. This book was very entertaining and I plan on reading more by Mr. Moat's

Loved!!!. Great plot, hilarious characters and an on your toes mystery. I can't wait to read the rest of the series! P.S. Who can resist a hero in his sixties with a beer belly?

Classmate Murders. This is one of the few mysteries I've read that I actually enjoyed! Especially since one of the heros is an older gentleman! I look forward to reading more from this great story-teller.

Class Mate Murders. It was cute. In the line of Sue Grafton. I liked it.

Worth reading.. The story line is very good. The characters are believable . . . Until the author has them spouting trite and juvenile dialogue of sex talk and campfire camaraderie.

Awful. Reads like a delusional 11th Grader's first attempt at being a writer. Whoever told this writer he had talent, was a nit wit.

Classmate Murders. Could not wait for this story to be over. Very unbelievable and juvenile. About 6,000 things that would NEVER happen. Sorry

Wish I'd passed. It's pretty juvenile: both the story and the writing. I'm not at all interested in trying any of the other books.

Must read it. Bob does an excellent job writing his books, it is a must read for anyone that likes mystery books.

Just ok.. Ok, I did finish this book only because its simply written and easy to read. It's always difficult to criticise given that I couldn't do what these authors do. However, I do feel that this has an amateur feel about it. At first I thought great its a new angle using someone in their 60's but then it just went down hill from there for me. The conversations were dreadful, like a bad 70's b movie. The relationship that arose between 'sleuth' and prospective victim was too quick and over the top finger down throat. I did question something that happened early on the answer to which was bought into play in the only good part of the book and that was the end. I understand this is the first of these 'jim amateur detective' books but I won't be reading any more of them. Will not be reading any more of these book
