EEEEEEEEK!!. It's been so long since I read this book! I loved it the first second third and now the fourth time I read it. I would recommend to fans of the Percy Jackson series

An excellent fantasy tale. This is a very enjoyable book, it is both well written and entertaining. The written manages to add humour without making the book into a comedy.

A masterpiece. Read all 3 and they were all fantastic. Was hooked from the first page! Writing style is a superb witty sort of way and I also fell in love with the characters. Lots of funny moments that made me laugh out loud but also some heart breaking ones. Definitely worth reading. Would read more from this author!

Quite simply the bestest young adults author in the world today. I laughed, I cried, I chuckled a few times. A ripping yarn.

So close to being great. Maybe I'm a cynic but a fantastic and suspenseful story was brought down by the terrible similes, jokes, etc, of the main character. Maybe he was meant to be that way, but for me it took away some of the magic of the book. But as it was sold at a discount, this was a fantastic bargain :-) enjoyable :-)
