Great Action Adventure. A solid four star experience. The issue I have with the story is the somewhat anti-climatic ending and the final motive for the villain was not realistic enough. All in all a solid experience.

Serpent. A nice Clive Cussler book. Good reading

Serpent. This was an excellent book with a very interesting plot. There were many scenes involving exciting action and lots of theories suggesting how the technology of the Myan civilization was created. It's full of surprises and was exciting to read.

Another good Cussler Story. Kurt and Joe do it again along with Paul and Gamay….what fun!

An amazing story, written by a great storyteller. I loved the book. Thank you for creating it!. It shames other authors I like by he’s creativity as well as the unflawed publishing.

Serpent. A disappointing read for this huge Cussler fan. Kemprecos' style weighed down the flow with less than interesting detail. It was a "close but no cigar" attempt at mimicking Cussler's style. I can only hope the NUMA files series gets better...but for now it is a distant third to the Dirk Pitt and Oregon sagas.

Fun and furious action. Classic Cussler with twists, action, drama and lots of bravado! Fast and fun read.

Entertaining but will not be memorable. I can't say that this was best or most suspenseful book that I have recently read but it was a good summer read. I liked the characters but there was not a lot of depth to them. I would not advise friends to read it or not read it.

Clive Cussler does it again. I have read every single Clive Cussler adventure and when I didn't think it could be any better than the last it turns out to be another masterpiece. I love reading all the adventures over and over again. I want to thank all the people who made these books possible I can't wait for the next adventure.

Good Adventure Tale. Typical Cussler... Action packed fast read with enough historical details and twists to keep it interesting. Shakespeare it ain't, but entertaining it most certainly is.

Easy to pass a few hours. A bit predictable but a good romp.

Good. Good but not up to usual standard. James rollins appears to have surpassed clive as my favorite author.

Serpent doesn’t disappoint! Non stop action. Kurt Austin and his crew get deep into ancient Mayan treasure. Not without being at deaths door a few times. Underwater espionage and megalomaniac adversaries make this book hard to put down.
