Dave. I liked the overall idea and plot of this short story. Unfortunately it suffered from poor writing skills. I could not stop thinking as I read it, that it was written by a teenager as a school assignment.

Love the imagination. I have read several books from this author and they are fantastic. The use of imagination, language, and humor keeps the reader engaged. Great Author

Awesome imagination!. A certain percent of the population wonders when something like this may become reality (I am part of that percentage), but the thought of all the politics that would be involved turns me off. Japanese animation has been doing this genre (never thought I would ever use that word) with the Macross series - Robotech here in the states back in the eighties. Oh the day that I long for when giant robots and transforming spacecraft become reality.
