AMAZING! 💜. This book was, and truly is an amazing read. It had a bit of romance, action, and fiction which I loved. The characters were realistic and I felt as if I were there with them. I think every preteen/ teenager should read this.

Hollowland. I thought this book was poorly edited, poorly written, and had way too much crude language and sex for a book in the teen category. Bad form Amanda Hawking!

Hollowland Review. This was the best book I have ever read!!! I usually don't like reading but I couldn't stop reading this book!!! All I have to say is please write a third book!!! Yes there is actually a second book that I have already read but as of now it is not available on the apple iBooks store. The second book is called Hollowmen. I have read the second book and it is awesome!!! Please write a third one because I want Remy to be able to see Lazlo again!!! AMAZING BOOKS!!!

Amazing. I love zombies. This was the book I have been waiting for for a very long time. I have probably read it billions of times already. It never gets old. I completely recommend it.

It's already out for the Kindle and the Nook. I'm not sure when it will be available for iBooks! I need to read it! On her blog, she gives us the first chapter to Hollowmen! Can't wait! Awesome. I absolutely loved this book. I read it only over a few days, but I wouldn't have put it down if I didn't have too. This was my first read from this app and I am terrified I won't find anything to even compare. Honestly, it's one I would have preferred not to end, haha. Great free book!!! I'm a zombies fan!

epage turner. Exhilarating pace. Sure I got the free one to see what the AH hubbub is all about. And now I'm a fan. She can probably afford a freelance editor to fix the typos now. But, somehow, they didn't take me out of the wild ride. Ending? All the more reason to look for a part 2.

Best book ever. I haven't finished the book yet I'm on page 181 and so far this is one of the best books I have ever read and I can't wait to finish it.

Hollowland. One if the greatest books I've read although I like the trylle novels by Amanda hocking a bit more better. The ending was sad and I'm hoping there would be a second part to this. I recommend the book everyone. I really really loved it. Great book Amanda hocking ;) :) <3

Entertaining,. I heard about Amanda Hocking from an NPR interview and wanted to check out her work. While the storyline was interesting, I just didn't buy any other character besides Remy. Also her narrative needs some refinement and depth. That being said, it was a nice read to kill time and I appreciate the book being free.

I read this book and the second one 3times. I LOVE THE HOLLOWS! Can't wait for the third book to come out. I'm waiting. I read these books all the time and I just can't get enough of them.

Impressive. I never read! But I got an iPad a while back and figured I'd try something considering that's what it's partially for. I read the book in just a couple days and really liked it.

Cliche. The book is super cliche so if you like that stuff it's fine but it's basically a pretty girl who's tough and a hot guy loves her along with another hot guy and she kicked butt the whole time

More Please!. I loved this book, it was so well written! The characters are great, the overall story is compelling and entertaining. It rings much more hopeful than typical apocalyptic stories which I appreciated. Also, just putting it out there, this would make a great tv show!

Beyond AMAZING!!!!!. I read about 3 to 4 books a week and this is probably the BEST book I have read in years! You defiantly need to make this a 50 book series!!! I absolutely LOVE it!!!! Oh boy.... I loved the book, I just didn't like the way it ended. I mean, what happens to Remy, is Max okay, do they find a cure? It left me with questions. But now I am determined to read the next book that she has with Remy in it. :)

GREAT!. I really loved this book. It left me wanting to know what's going to happen next. The author did a wonderful job creating the main character, Remy. She plays such a strong, female lead and is very well thought out. I couldn't help but feel for each of the characters in this book. This book is definitely worth reading if you're into zombies and action.

Where's the next one, iBookstore?. Strangely the second book in this series is missing from the iBookstore, but it's available over on the Kindle store. What's that about? Regardless, this is a fun teen zombie thriller. Well worth the $2.99 price I paid.

Zombie apocalypse!!! YAY. Amazing book you do not want to miss this. Please please please tell me theres a sequel though because there is no way that this story has finished

Shocked. I read alot of syfy/ fantasy books however mainly on the magic, vampire and werewolf variety. This is my first zombie book an I loved it, I hope there is a sequel as there is alot to still read about remy, her brother and her friends. For example do blue and max survive leaving the compound? Do they even successfully free ripley? An I don't know About anyone else but I'd love to see the doctors reaction when they realize what happened! Back to reviewing it never got boring everytime they stopped in all those different places you just think what next? What else could these zombies do? Nothing is predictAble in it. So please write a sequel :) it be much appreciated.

Stunning. I thought this book was perfect, well almost perfect. The book has a brilliant mixture of story line development and action. I ended up loving the characters and actually caring about them. The variety in the story was excellent and kept it interesting. The ending was fantastic in the sense it didn't try to give too much extra information; on the other hand I would have like to have seen an epilogue to really give a sense of closure. Overall, however, the book is fantastic.

Hollowland. This book is amazing!! I'm really into the zombie thing and it's one of the best books I've ever read! With the ending it sounds like there might be another one and I hope there will be!

Enjoyable. I thought it a started a bit quick but hey once you are in it's a great read. Frustrated that book 2 isn't available on iBooks however. Good characters as always with Amanda and some nice gory scenes!

Hollowland. I came across Amanda's amazing books while randomly searching through my local library. After reading the Trylle Trilogy. I instantly fell deeply in love. Hollowland is a great book filled with action, suspense and love. Left on a cliffhanger that made me cry. Found this book incredibly difficult to put down. I loved how each character was very different yet became inseparable. Lazlos character I found a complete heart throb. Remy I could completely relate to. This book is great for those who want a thriller that still makes you feel emotional. My favourite book by far.

Funny and enjoyable. At first I was worried when I began to read this book and found out it envolved zombies , I thought it would not be my cup of tea , but as time progressed and I Continued to read this book I became enveloped in a world death and action. And found out that infact this book was not all that frightening. As a matter of fact I found it very enjoyable and am waiting in anticipation for the sequel.

Loved it!. I had this book in my library for a while before I finally read it and if I knew it was going to be that awesome I would have read it sooner! I should have known really, I've thoroughly enjoyed Amanda's other books. Shes a fantastic writer and has a real talent when it comes to building her characters! I easily got hooked onto this story and can't wait to read the next one. Definitely recommend reading this action packed book!!

Wow. I almost stopped reading this book but I have myself a chance and holly cow I love it. It's full of passion, romance, jealousy, hate, sorrow and awesome kickass zombie fighting! I'm aching for the next one!

Make a movie. I've read a lot of books but this one is my favorite!! I do agree the first pages we a little boring but it got a lot better. I personally think you should make a movie out of the book. I reckon it would make an outstanding movie.

Awesome. This book is very good! It's full of adventure and love, to fight for survival as the zombie virus spreads!! Remy fights hundreds of zombies to be re-united with her brother, somewhere in the country. It's a must read!! Recommended for all ages!!

Just... Wow!. As soon as I discovered this book as free i instantly knew I had to read it. Amanda's writing never ceases to amaze me. I mean, anyone could write a zombie story with a romantic twist and it would be cliche. But with her writing, it is a breath of fresh air in a literary world so often riddled with wannabe writers and those whom fail to create the spark of interest. This kept me hooked right up to the very last chapter and I'd love to know when and where I could read the next one, regardless of whether it is free or otherwise. I would happily sacrifice my limited Christmas money in order to read the next installment. There is just so much in the final cliffhanger! I recommend this to anyone who loves a bit of undead zombies with an impeccably well written romance. She definitely deserves every star she receives: 5/5! :D
