Lisa Gardner. I discovered this writer as I have a few others, by reading a “FreeBook” in the bookstore, however this lady keeps you guessing, concocts fabulous twists and turns and delivers sucker punches when you are least expecting them. Other than maybe going into too much detail on things that are irrelevant I think she is a fantastic writer with a brilliant mind. Looking forward to the next book.

Awesome Read. The Neighbor is an awesome read!! I have read many of Lisa Gardner’s books but this is by far my favorite. Such a great storyline that draws you in and keeps you up at night. If your a fan of LG you will throughly enjoy this book!!

The Neighbor. I have loved most of her books. However, just read this one and was a bit disappointed. I found it somewhat pedantic and predictable.

Couldn't put it down!.. I recently discovered Lisa Gardner and enjoy her books. This is one of the most creative novels I've ever read! The ending was superb and I never saw it coming.

Gripping Story . . . until. This was a great who ‘dun it ‘ as the story proceeded, but the ending was less satisfying than the set up.

The Neighbor. I could not put this down! This was my first “D. D. Warren” book and now I will have to read the others!

Eh. Had the potential to be good but didn’t wrap up the way it should’ve. Introduced characters that had no bearing on the actual story. Didn’t care for it.

Lures you in quickly. As typical of Lisa Gardner’s book, this one lures you in quickly. For me, the book challenged some of my assumptions about sex offenders and how we rush to judge “who done it”. This book gives you a glimpse into the other side and things and how looks can be deceiving. I did have part of the ending figured out, but only part of it. Good twists and turns. Admittedly, I didn’t like most the characters in this book, even the main characters. I did like Ree, Ethan and Aiden. I’m having a difficult time warming up to DD Warren - thus far she’s not all that interesting. I think the end was a bit over the top and overly complicated, but all and all I’m still a fan.

Plenty of twists & turns. A very unique and different way to tell the story, using 1st person “dialog” throughout with different characters. Definitely a surprise ending.
