Adore it!!!. this is the second time i read this book and i absolutely adore it. I couldnt put it down, even the second time. However the writing does seem to be a little mature for a 12 year old but thats ok. I recommend this book to everyone, it is a heartbreaking story that has made me realize to appreciate what you have. Thank you wendelin for helping ME turn the page.

Exceptional Book. Runaway is one of the best books I have ever read

Grew up with it!. This was my favorite book when I was a little girl. It got me through a hard time in my life while I was dealing with bullying and failing grades. Holly taught me to stay tough even in the face of adversity and that things will always get worse before they get better. This book is one of many that began my early love of reading and inspired me to overcome my dyslexia. I hope to be reading it in my book club soon.

Oh, wow.. What an amazing book. I felt like I was living with Holly, following her around, shivering in the rain. Even though I've never been in a situation like Holly's, (thank God) I feel the same way about a lot of things. Here's my very favorite part: “It’s weird to read your own writing, you know that? It’s embarrassing.” I am an avid writer, (as you might can tell) and I frequently read my writing. Whether it was written last year or last night, I always feel acutely embarrassed by my writings. So thanks, Wendelin, for creating a relatable character. I nearly cried over some of the parts. Plus, I'm also a poet, and Holly's work is inspirational. P. S. If you want to read on and know how Holly turns out, try the Sammy Keyes series. Sammy is the one who rescued Holly, and it's a long, intriguing mystery series. Plus, it's got the same element of making you wake up and realize how fortunate you are. P. P. S. Read my review on Sammy Keyes and the Showdown in Sin City. It'll give you a better look on what I think about Sammy. P. P. P. S. I'm only rating this four stars, because it was chilling and showed me worlds I only vaguely realized existed— such as that of street kids and cruel foster homes. But the writing is totally 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!!
