The book. I can't WAIT for the next book I am in love with them

One of the best in this series!. I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I was expecting it to be one of those well-written but annoying "conclusion" books where everyone is finding themselves and making amends. Although there are quite a few amends made, it's definitely not the conclusion; in fact, there's an excerpt from the next book at the end. (Sammy Keyes and the Killer Cruise— now available!) Once Sammy gets to Vegas, she teams up with the last person you'd ever expect. Once they find Lady Lana, Sammy finally learns who her father is. But it comes with a price that she (and Casey, might I add) never meant to pay. And at the end, there is a wedding-- you'll never guess whose. Now that I look back, I see that Wendelin has known who Sammy's dad was all along. I mean, of course she did, but she sort of foreshadowed a little. And do you remember that part from Sammy Keyes and the Wedding Crasher? “And I hate to admit it, but it did cross my mind that Heather and I could maybe team up and find some way to break up our parents. We would be unstoppable.” And I just feel so sorry for Marissa and Mikey. Are they really moving? (NO!!! Marissa reminds me a little of my own best friend, since I like danger and risks and she doesn't seem like the type for that.) I also wish there was more Billy in this book. I absolutely love Billy. Who doesn't? He, too, reminds me of a friend. He is my absolute favorite. And you gotta love Casey. Casey is one of my favorites. Not only do he and Sammy make the cutest couple, but I'd love to have a friend like him. (When I found out that he was an actor, my heart did a little squealy jump. I'm an actress, and I have a bit of a literary crush on Casey. And a real crush on a guy like him. Same with Billy.) Overall, this book was utterly enthralling. I read it pretty much nonstop one night. It was suspenseful, sweet, and a little heart-stopping. And, of course, Sammy's (and Holly's, if you've read Runaway) signature attitude. I loved this book. It's fantastic.
