Rain Song. Very well written, detailed, and inspiring. Nicole reminds me a lot of myself! I just wish there was more romance between Harrison and Nicole.

Rain Song. I really enjoyed this book, mostly for the plot and the emotions of the story, rather than the writing style which is rather simple for my tastes. I do think the story is well put together, would make a good movie.

Rain Song. I really enjoyed this book very much. We've had a lot of grief in our family and most recently my three year old grandson died in a swimming pool accident. His father suffers from survivor syndrome and struggles to maintain normalcy for his other nine children. But is doing well most of the time. This story is very enlightening. Thank you for putting so much feeling into it. I would like to think her grandparents finally let her see what was in the boxes in the attic to give her more closure.

Excellent Story!. Anyone with past loss & rich family history should read this book. It made me remember what family love is all about..A MUST READ! Great Story

Fantastic. Great writing, rich with well developed characters. Loved it.

Rain Song. This was a very interesting read. I appreciate the interaction with the fish, family and Japan. The main character reminded me of the family dynamics in my own family. The book made me care about the family members and I had concern how Nichole would get thru life. It kept my attention and i will recommend this to friends.

Read this book. Beautifully written. Satisfying story

An ok read. Not exactly a page-turner, but an interesting story. Protagonist appeared much more childish than her age as revealed in the book. Story lacked depth - it centered around the main character visiting Japan to gain some kind of closure, however after having worked up the courage to do so, the story abruptly ends, leaving the reader wanting more.

Rain Song. I enjoyed Rain Song. It really had southern charm, which made a good calming read. I hope she continues to write novels. I definitely will keep an eye open for her next book.

Wonderful. Much like Nichole, I too am facing the first plane ride and it will go over seas to finally meet a dear friend of mine. I have been so nervous and scared. I could relate so much with Nichole and I felt how she felt. This is a wonderful book and so up lifting. I found the writing very relaxing. I connected with the characters so well. Thank you for such a charming book. And thank you for giving me the strength that I too can go on my journey.
