Easy Read. Karen repeats herself a lot in this book. But it does tell her story

Very good book!. I wasn't sure what kind of book this was going to be, characters from the underworld, a tv show, the headlines. What it is a story about a family, and how "their" American dream plays out. It's a story about a father and his love for a family, it is written by a adoring daughter who has to deal with the father she knows and the one the world knows. At times this book will anger you, make you laugh and feel for a family who are anything but typical. Really great book.

Mob daughter. I'm so fascinated by your story. This is one of the first times a book had captured my full attention. I feel like right or wrong your father did what he had to do for his family, and everyone can appreciate that. I admire your ability to talk about your story. I love the reality show mob wives and this book gives me a better understanding of your life. I think your father is a courageous man. Thank you for showing me that everybody does things they aren't proud of but at the end of the day everything shapes you to be a better person. I hope everyone who reads this appreciates this book the way I did. I hope your father is doing well and enjoys his freedom once he receives it again. Karen is my favorite mob wife. Mob Daughter. A MUST read for Italian- American women who grew up in New York... Couldn't put it down !

Outstanding. After watching the hit show "Mob Wives" and learned that Karen was writing a book, I couldn't wait to read it. After reading this book, my heart goes out to Karen, her Father "Sammy the Bull" and the rest of her family. I couldn't image what she and her family went through for so many years. So I will be one to not judge her families lifestyle. They are all very brave and strong!

Mob Daughter. Not at all what I expected. So much hype went into this book from the show. ( which I love ) . I wouldn't recommend this book to my worst enemy, let alone anyone of my friends. Poorly written, and just a lot of nonsense. Would've expected no less from the daughter of the biggest rat in history... Im sorry I spent the 12 bucks.., live and learn.....

Eh....As expected.. Title says it all. This book was as expected. Most of us know the story if you've heard of Sammy the Bull or of you watch Mob Wives. Nothing new.

Mob Daughter. This book was excellent! I am a big fan of mob wives and very interested in the life that Ms. Gravano and the other mob wives live. It is heart touching story and I am totally obsessed with mob wives can't wait till season three and hopefully the movie supposedly coming out. Definitely keeps you hooked!

Great read.. I couldn't put this book down since I bought it. It is a great read and gives a better u defeat ding I to the mob wives show as well as the mob life from a family members point of view.

Pretty good!. The book is a lot better than I thought it would be. At first I was hesitant to read it because of who wrote it, but it got better the longer I read it. It gives a lot of insight to many things about the mob and individual members themselves.

New editor needed ASAP. I will first start off by saying that I was very disappointed with the amount of typos and poorly written sentences. It was very obvious that Karen is not an author. As for her story, the beginning part was soo incredibly boring!! But if you can get through the first 12 chapters of her talking about her childhood and her repetitive saying that she didn't understand what was really going on, then you will enter into her fast life with lots of drama and suspense. The story was very interesting with a good mix of the narrative part about what happened in Arizona and with her feelings throughout the events that happened. Ultimately, I was not impressed and would probably never purchase one of her books if she ever wrote another. Seeing grammatical errors and spelling errors are completely unacceptable in my eyes. Andddd she was too repetitive. I'm sure that if Karen wasn't on mob wives, this book would have NEVER made it on the new York's best seller list.

Great book. I really enjoyed the book and the background it lead into of Karen's father , but I would like to have known every detail!!!! Good luck with ur successes Karen!

I liked it. Being a fan of the show ... It gave a deeper sense of true lifestyles the women are experiencing, I would like to see Karens mother on the show, she must have a lot to add to an already spectacular show ... Keep spreading your wings Karen

Wow great book from just hearing all the stories in the news papers and on the television you totally don't get the full story.watching Karen on mob wives I never really understood why she came off so powerful with her personality but reading this book made me get a clear understanding not only what type of person she is but also her entire family.I no Karen didn't write thus book to get any pity but all that she has been through how can u not feel for her and her family.Even tho her and her father have done things that they are not proud of there is a moral in this story and that is stay true to who u are and what u believe and not matter how hard things could get there is light at the end of the tunnel!!! The book was a good read.. I liked how the book allowed you to get a glimpse of her life and family history. However, there were many grammatical errors, repetition and contradictions. I would have like to have know more of the details of her stories. I felt she held back a lot! Overall, I enjoyed reading it.

Mob Daughter. The book wasn't at all what I expected. Karen word of advice, reader want to picture what they are reading . This book was poorly written. Stick to the spa business cause writing and acting are something your not that good at.

Just wow.... I had no idea this life exists. I always watched Mob Wives and loved it. Karen’s book was way more detailed and insightful into her life growing up. I couldn’t put this book down.

Interesting read, very exciting and sad after reading this story and not knowing all the details you kind of understand why Sammy did what he did I don't feel to bad for what happened. To John but I am not to sure about the rest of the folks that went down oh well like the saying goes. Don t do the crime if you can't do the time

Amazing!!. This book completely changed my opinion of Karen Gravano. I couldn't put it down!! She did an amazing job.

Not bad.. The book was better than I thought it would be. A little pricey if you ask me. It's always nice to hear everyone's version of how things happened. Karen's mom should write a book and tell her story. At times I thought Karen seemed to play her role in certain things down and she sort of played the victim role. Then other times Karen seems to think an awful lot of herself and her role in certain things like Mob Wives and her nephew being raised. I'm not sure why Karen makes it seem like she raised her nephew when he has a mother. I found it a little strange that Karen talked so much about Lee. She talked more about Lee than any other man she dated. It made me wonder if Karen still has feelings for Lee. All in all the book was a decent read.

Love it!!!!!!. This book is awesome!! It's great to see how the families of these notorious gangsters live and to see the ups and downs and to know that their families are able to move past their lives and build a loving bond with the mobsters! It's a life that no one will ever be able to understand to the full extent unless they have lived it! So touching to see that Karen has made amends and is living life to the fullest with her family!

Amazing. I read Undercover Boss years ago I loved it . Growing up myself in a Sicilian family in San Francisco ,I understand a lot of the traditions and ways,although my Father was not in the life. Karen a really insightful read, thank you for sharing. Defiantly made me want to reread UnderBoss . Congrats on coming through the other side!

Save your money. I am terribly dissapointed at having spent 13.00 on this book. I think my mistake was i didn't realize your dad had a book, now thats the story. Your book reads no different than how many rich spoiled kids live, clubs, vip tables fendi gucci bags etc. I think it's a matter of time before you resort back to "who you are" when times get rough. Perhaps use some money to go to College, so when ppl stop using your spa you can earn a clean living and stop living off your dads name.

Just Ok. I wasn’t sure what I expected reading this. I was hoping to see more into a life as mob daughter. It did just that however I was not that impressed by it. I don’t know what it is but it lacked something and seemed repetitive in the story telling. It was an OK read but I don’t think I could recommend it.

Mob wives. Terribly written .. Someone should have used spell check ..would of done well with someone editing the book .. Many of the stories are re written over and over ... How ever .. The meat of the book is interesting .. The story is one that i wanted to keep reading ... If only is was better written !

Good Read. This book kept me reading. Although a lot of the story happened before my time. Watching Mob Wives and seeing the characters on tv never give you a real sense of who they really are. This book has opened my eyes to the person who is Karen Gravano. I could relate and I have a better understanding of the Mafia life.
