Book is in French. it says nowhere that it would be in a different language and then i go to read and it’s in French

What the hell. No English version seriously...... Not good on holiday now desperately want the english version as need second and 3rd!!

Disgusting. This is disgraceful. When downloading this on a mobile device you cannot see that it's in French!! There is an Italian version which is clearly indicated. Exploitation and no easy way of reimbursement. Why wouldn't an English version be on here and it's not like it cheap at £13.99. Get your act together apple!!

fantastic book, maybe not in French... although I wouldn't recommend buying it in french or German, the books are fantastic and well worth reading when you can. don't be dishearten by the fact that the similar books are twilight as it is in not entirely true.

Hunger Games 1. It does actually say on this listing that the book is in French, (on the left, just above 'Requirements' it says Language: French) but it isn't very clear. Thanks for the warnings everyone - stopped me making the same mistake!

It's French ya numpties. I emailed Apple about this being in French on the UK site a year ago. Lets hope Samsung doesn't start selling books eh!

Please read. This book is fantastic. Let's not rate it badly just because we may have not noticed the language is French. Just by the actual book and read the description before buying a book next time!

The Hunger Games. I wonder if Apple read the feedback I presume not despite so many complaints about the Hunger Games being in French they have done nothing about it........ and trying to find a email address to contact Apple is impossible......... Kindle seems to be winning at the moment in the book market

Get it in English via Kobo app. Realised from the reviews that the iBooks version is not in English. Gave it a 3 star, because its an excellent book, but iBooks does not have the English version. Download Kobo app and you can buy the complete trilogy in English for US$30. The app is similar to iBooks but i had to log into kobo online, purchased the book and then my Kobo app on my iPad & iPhone sync'd and i can read the trilogy offline. I just read Book 1 in English and i could not put the book down! It was excellent. I watched the film first and then read the book. The film is one of the best i've seen all year & the book is even better!

DON"T BUY THIS ONE - IT"S IN FRENCH!!. Yep. I made the same mistake. Bought the French version. Confusing because the french writing on the image is too small to make out and the "Language: French" in the detail below the image is fairly inconspicuous. I realise it was essentially my error, but considering the amount of people who were also fooled, I think the presentation of this item is misleading. Trying to get a refund / swap. Watch this space ….

It's French??. I'm giving it 3 stars as I have no opinion on the book itself as I downloaded it too quickly without realising its in French so cannot read it to rate it! I'm a little mad as I purchased it off my iPhone knowing I wanted to buy the book, but the front cover and title gives no clue that its in French (you cant see any french writing on the cover on an iphone screen) so I fully expected it to be in English, I diddnt read the description or reviews before purchase because I knew I wanted to buy it before I searched for the book. The title should read "the hunger games part 1 ( French)" like the Italian version does, to stop confusion and save people money, I mean £13 is a lot for a book, so it's not fair that people are wasting money on something they want but cannot read. Please sort it apple. I'm sure it's putting a lot of people off buying more books off you through anger they lost money in you.

how do I get the English version on iBooks. I didn't make the mistake of buying it. Amazing!!. My mother is French and I've been trying to persuade her to read this book for a while and I have now finally found a version in French! Amazing translations and great also for learners of the language.

Rip off & not stupid!!. I purchased what I thought was an English version of this highly recommended book, which is why I spent £11.99 on it!! What a rip off I too got fooled into downloading it in French. The reason I didn't notice it was French is like I said it came highly recommended, therefore had no intention of reading a sample! Also the Italian version has clearly stated so in brackets! Really disappointed and will certainly be trying to get a refund!
