Mariani. Have read all of Scott Mariani books, fantastic read all of them, Ben Hope is such a great character and the stories are compelling. Would recommend to any avid crime thriller readers. Keep them coming Scott.

Stunning. Another great story from Scott Mariani. Ben Hope feels real and there is a great ongoing back story, whilst keeping you fascinated the threads of the main characters and their interactions. Almost managed to read it in one go, but sleep forced me to wait and finish it. Why do we have to wait another year? Oh yes, because the next one will be at least as good. :-)

Just ok. Not my favourite Ben Hope novel. The story just seemed to drag along.

Great read. Have never been a great reader. Was introduced to this author a few months ago and have now read every book. This one in less than a week. Can't say if this is the best as they are all good, but for me to read so quickly suggests it might be.

Excellent. Came across his book by mistake, but have Now read all Ben hope series, compelling reads. Very good author.

Best so far. Well worth the wait. All the main characters are interesting, the different stories forming the plot are engaging and intertwined and the mysterious 'sacred sword' allows Scott to venture into an intriguing interpretation of early Christian communities... besides, we find out something really unexpected about Ben Hope that he was not aware of... and that will deeply change his life and personality. All in all a great book, truly enjoyable. Probably the best in the series, so far (I've given it four stars to save the five stars for an even better Ben Hope story)!

Great story...disappointing end. I thaught the story was excellent but the ending was a bit pants hence the 4 stars. I'm guessing the ending of this story will carry on at the beginning of the next one with what happens when he fetches Jude

The Sacred Sword.. Thoroughly enjoyed the book from start to finish, fast paced and full of action. Not quite up to Mr Mariani's best, Ben Hope would usually be a little more weary of using a credit card that could be traced. Loved it all the same, and waited with Baited breath for his latest book. Good read, great value for money and definitely worth a read.

Another great thriller. This is another great book in the Ben Hope series. Well written it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. Daring escapes and cruel violence, it's just what his fans expect and in The Sacred Sword we are not disappointed. Now I can't wait for his next book which regretfully isn't due until next year, but the wait will be worth it.

Happy days. I have been lost without my Ben Hope fix - roll on May - this book can't come soon enough. I do hope there'll be more to come - please don't stop writing this series!

The worst of the bunch. I've read all of the books with Ben Hope and this is my least favourite. It doesn't have the same suspense as the books. Hope the next one is better.

The sacred sword. Brilliant

Brilliant.. With only one more book to read, I feel excited to know what Ben Hope will find himself facing next. Thoroughly enjoyed the series so far and can't wait to start The Armada Legacy hoping it will be as good as the rest. A shocking revelation that I didn't see coming, made The Sacred Sword a real page turner for me and kept me gripped throughout.

Another fab read. Yet another great instalment in the Ben Hope series and again does not disappoint. Fast paced with a little bit more info on Ben. The one downside? Now have to wait until next year for my next Ben Hope fix. Let's hope there's another e-book in between.

Great read. Another great read from the Ben Hope series

Disappointing. Derivative, predictable at every turn, appallingly irritating characters.
