Very good. I'm a 7th grader and I think filson young is a great author.all the details and things like that I thought I was one of the passengers the only think I didn't like was there wasn't any inside story there wasn't any main charachters

Titanic. Filson Young is an amazing writer. He provides a surplus of details; therefore makes you feel like if you were there. Quality time is spent on every character, event, and aspect of Titanic-from Belfast to New York!

Clearly written by an essayist. This book is very descriptive and detail oriented. That in itself isn't awful, but I found the descriptions to be long winded and distracting. There are only so many times I'm willing to read about grey horses and their crests of manes. The book is loaded with this kind of imagery and it was increasingly difficult to keep up with a sense of time or location as a result.

titianic. the saddesit thing that ever happened

Beautifully heartbreaking. I finished this in two days, and I'm a slow reader. The descriptions were enthralling and Young mentioned things about the disaster I'd never heard before. Very eloquent and tragic read; I highly recommend it.
