Tilt Book Reviews
Tilt by Ellen Hopkins Book Summary
Love—good and bad—forces three teens’ worlds to tilt in a riveting novel from New York Times bestselling author Ellen Hopkins.
Three teens, three stories—all interconnected through their parents’ family relationships. As the adults pull away, caught up in their own dilemmas, the lives of the teens begin to tilt...
Mikayla, almost eighteen, is over-the-top in love with Dylan, who loves her back. But what happens to that love when Mikayla gets pregnant the summer before their senior year—and decides to keep the baby?
Shane turns sixteen that same summer and falls hard in love with his first boyfriend, Alex, who happens to be HIV positive. Shane has lived for four years with his little sister’s impending death. Can he accept Alex’s love, knowing that his life, too, will be shortened?
Harley is fourteen—a good girl searching for new experiences, especially love from an older boy. She never expects to hurdle toward self-destructive extremes in order to define who she is and who she wants to be.
Love, in all its forms, has crucial consequences in this standalone novel.

Formatting Issue.. This book is wonderful and you should most definitely read it. Just not on an IPhone, because it has not been formatted correctly to work with an IPhone. The font it must be for it to work is minuscule and when you enlarge the font it cuts off half the page. Poorly done. I want my money back.
Amazing. Again this book left me constantly turning the pages (or screens) to find out more. I'm always left wanting an endless never ending story with any of the books Ellen Hopkins writes. This was definitely no exception. I had started Triangles a while ago, not sure what to expect with a more adult type novel but do to other constraints never finished it. I'm more interested to return back to reading triangles to see what the adults view point is on everything that turned out. I hope Ellen keeps doing what she is doing. These books are amazing and they can speak volumes to teenagers and even adults.
Tilt. OMG!!! BEST BOOK YET!!
.. Loved the book just didn’t quite like the ending. It just kind of ends
Soo good, could've been better though. I absolutely loved this book but she should have continued the story. I was left hanging. I don't like that. Ellen Hopkins should definitely make a sequel.
Love and hate. Loved the book and overall story but this book needs a sequel
Great book, disappointing ending. I love this book, but at the end I didn't really get a big shocker or big ending. It just ended awkwardly.. A little disappointed but very well written and has a very good message.
constantly entertaining. loved these books for years and love this one just the same
