An Irish Love Story. This was a lovely romance with an abundance of Irish flavor. An easy read as it is not very long but you didn't want it to end. The story helped slake my thirst for all things Irish. Enjoy!

A little slow but a great love story.. I read the story within a couple of hours. It was a little slow in the first part but with a little more patience you find that it is a great love story. It came across as almost a "real" believable story. I like how it was told by a man point of view. To the author: thank you for a beautiful story.

Infidelity. So he basically cheats on his wife. And family, for that matter. That is ridiculous, and I refuse to read a book with that in it. That's what makes a story terrible.

What is this?!. So he cheats on his family, the lover tells him to go back to his family because she loves him enough to "let him go". 20 yrs later, he's divorced, a successful writer and the old lover has waited for him all these years because hes the "only one"? .....o-Kay , on top of that she had a son that she raised with her husband (Marriage of convenience) And when he meets his "real" daddy he is forgiving and immediately calls him "dad" , yeah, sure. It's free, but I wish i hadn't even downloaded it and wasted my time.

An Irish Love Story. An easy read but little attention paid to the details of us Irish folk, our ways and sayings. We don't speak Eire we speak Irish but only in certain parts of the island, rest of us speak english,our black and white birds are magpies not crows and you don't book into the Jury's Hotel it's just Jury's! I could go on and on about the lack of research taken by this author to capture the true Southern Ireland but it doesn't detract from the lovely little love story that ensues over 20yrs or 1month depending on how you look at it, same old story, the Yanks get our ginger haired spinsters pregnant then leave, oh I hadn't heard that one before?! I doubt if this author ever set foot in Cork, but even if he did, he sure didn't get to know us at all at all. Nice try but lack of attention to detail made it extremely annoying each time he got it wrong. Fine read if your a blow in and pretending your part Irish. Why do the yanks insist they're all half breeds, haven't met one yet who didn't claim to have Irish roots. It all comes good in the end for Maggie so your left feeling satisfied but what a waste of all those years, she could have claimed child support like the rest of the ginger brigade, but no she kept her shameful secret to herself. Should have set this in the 1900's........

Irish lovestory. This wonderful book drew me in from the first page, brilliant descriptions and as i read i could see it all in my head what was happening, i got so sucked into the story i couldnt put it down, Thank you for a wonderful book Ami

Lovely story. This is a sweet story, from start to finish, with the names and places of Ireland you could see were the Story was going. I enjoyed it very much and as it was free I had enjoyed it more lol. Thank you.....
