Boring. I just couldn't get into it. I don't really like the theme of slave/master relationship either. The relationship felt forced and rushed. I'd love to love it since I love ancient history.
No chemistry. Good idea and plotline but terribly edited and proofread. Characters are one-dimensional and minor characters have no dimensions at all, bad character development. And the name Ademeni? How do you even pronounce that? Chemistry lacking between Marcus and Ademeni and love scenes are not steamy at all. Disappointing.
