Favorite Book of 2015. I read a lot of romance -- historical, Regency and contemporary -- books and "His Stolen Bride" is that best of the year. I read books from Eloisa James, Jillian Hunter, Stephanie Laurens and Grace Calloway. Shelly Thacker is a talented writer and story teller. I highly recommend this book.

Sweet as camhanach. This was an epic story that I could not put down. I was gripped by each page, and I don't usually read historical romance. I'm glad I gave this book a chance. I give it a 4.5 stars only because of some slight editing issues.
A lovely story. The characters are either clever, resourceful and likable or evil to the core. Fast moving story with a nice twist and good ending.
His Stolen Bride. This book is a "must read". It was absolutely wonderful. It is so well written, & so moving. At times my heart raced as I was reading & I had to stop & walk away for a minute. Then I had to get right back to it because I couldn't wait to see what happens next. Laurien's & Darach's strengths & great characteristics shone throughout the story. This book is special!

Hard to put down. Loved this book! Hard to put down, even knowing what happened to Scotland soon after the timeline of the book. Even though I know this is fiction, I hope they survived!
