Written from the perspective of a father who lost his son to suicide, this book captures the thoughts and feelings of survivors of suicide who have had to deal with the aftermath of suicide. Makes me want to kill myself more. This book was written in a way that it makes you feel guilty about wanting to end your life. True enough, suicide will have an effect on someone in your life, but has the writer ever thought this person doesnt really care about anyone else because nobody else cares about him/her anyway, and that’s why he/she wants to die! Guilt tripping a suicidal person doesnt help. You are just adding fuel to the fire. Why would i wanna think about the people who dont care about me? Isn’t that the reason i want to end my life in the first place, because no one cares? I came here to seek enlightenment, empathy or at least comforting words so i wont have to contemplate about suicide, not be guilt tripped.

Currently crying.. I’ve had suicide on my mind for so long I’ve even tried before.. yet it didn’t do anything since I was young and dumb and didn’t do it right. This book make me think again. I loved this book and realize how much I don’t want to leave the people I love. They’re who I live for.

My thoughts. This book came across as slightly aggressive with the tone of the writing because of the facts presented, however, I don't think thats a bad thing. One thing I didn't particularly like about this book is its inclusion of pictures of suicide, to someone who's very sensitive to seeing that it could be harmful or thought-provoking. Anyway, as someone who doesn't really read many books this one kept me reading and interested the whole time through. It grounds the reader in reality which is very much needed sometimes. Thank you for this.
