The Chocolate Touch. I am 6 years old and my grandma read this book to me. I really loved the story about John's problem. That is why I gave it a 5 star rating. P.V.S.

IT is an interesting book to read. John is not able to control his love for chocolate, and he is selfish about sharing chocolate, other than that he is a great kid in my view.

The Chocolate Touch. This book was illustrated by Margot Apple and the book was released in 1952. In 1978, Margot Apple illustrated it. This year, I read it with my reading teacher. SUMMARY: It all started when John found this funny old coin that has J.M. And a face on it. He went to the candy store and the clerk gave him a huge box of chocolates. Although, John was disappointed because there was just nothing but 1 piece of chocolate. When he ate it, EVERYTHING TASTED LIKE CHOCOLATE!!! Then, he eats that he never ate before and it turns into chocolate. But now his trumpet. Turned into chocolate. He was so embarrassed, he ran home from the school. Then the terrible thing happened: EVERYTHING NOW HE TOUCHES TURNS INTO CHOCOLATE!!! He ran to the storekeeper and said that everything he touches and eats turns into chocolate. Then, the clerk told him everything will be back to normal. Then, he drank milk and it turned into ordinary milk and he was happy. All rights reserved.
