murder at its finest. This is a great children’s book if you want your kids to be put on death row at a young age. This book truly teaches great morals. I read this to my kids every night before they go to bed. 10/10.

It’s nice. Short, pretty nice little tale. Some Christian imagery (possibly unintentional) and reference to prayer, but nothing too intense.

Horrible message, poor rhythm. This poorly-written book teaches kids that animals should be treated like commodities, that animals should be murdered. Also the writing is very incompetent and sloppy. My 7-year old daughter says, “this book is very mean and I didn’t like it.”

Willy the whale. It has a great lesson to be nice but.. Wouldn’t the bandaid just come of in the water? And it is very unrealistic so I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Willy The Whale. Okay. This book is fine, but some rhymes are choppy (water and shorter doesn't rhyme!) and the photo of the shark and the tuna is terrible! Both could be alive! This author overall, no mean to be rude, but this author should really learn how to rhyme, and they should learn childrens book shouldn't have a weird hook to DEATH!

Bizarre. Weird fixation on death in this book. Lots of grammar errors, too.

Ending. It’s a great book, but the ending made me a little sad cause it shows a dead shark, and I know that it’s just a book, but it’s an endangered species. Great book though! Love it!

Mountain-out-of-molehill-review-for-something-sweet-and-simple. I am a thirty year old reading this book! I like the rhyme but since it is for babies, the fisherman catching the shark at the end as a reward seemed opposing a great point the book could have made. Please bear with me. I know I am extracting and then being critical of something that is to be read to perhaps 2-year olds. I thought the fisherman saving the whale could have been a nice lesson that humans can and are supposed to save other beings on the planet. But then catching the shark when many species of sharks are endangered worldwide seemed against this point. Of course, this might NOT have been a point. But given the times we are living in, maybe it could have been? Sorry for this mountain-out-of-molehill review! Cheers. Happy reading or reading-out-to-toddlers! 🙃

Willy the whale. This book was pretty good except the fact it was quite short compared to hug the pug . As well as the beginning hadn’t introduced Willy enough . Apart from that it was a good book just needed that little boost of making it longer and introducing Willy.

Willly the Whale. This book was a joy to read from start to finish. I really resonated with Willy, I almost felt I was a whale at some points in the book, however this could be my under lying weight issue. My one problem with this book is the fact that there isn’t enough of a description with Terry the Tuna; but this isn’t really required for the tale.

Misleading illustrations. Don't be fooled but the cute(?) - somebody commented on their review that it was creepy - pictures. In my opinion, this book is not suitable for young children & toddlers; they won't understand the tongue-in-cheek humour. But older kids that can interpret metaphors and underlying messages can enjoy this book (without getting traumatised.) If they can understand sarcasm, they're old enough. The book is a short rhyming book with-outer expletives or offensive language... But it has adult humour. There is a moral to the tale and yes, there is "death" but it is only briefly portrayed at the end. On the last page, it was done in a comical way. It wouldn't have any affect on even the most sensitive snowflakes.
