Amazing Book!. This book had me from page one, with the suspense and action rising. I felt as if the book was glued to my hands and I couldn’t set it down. Tanya is an amazing well developed character, who not only saves the day and surprises herself even with that act of heroism, but she ends up falling in love. The scarifies and thrills of this page turner keep the pace up. This is definitely a book to recommend. I absolutely loved it.

Best book by Holly. I love most of what Holly writes but this book - this I've read probably five times, and I'm picky about my vampire fiction. In fact, most óf the lore in this went against what I typically prefer but it was still so dang good... you just didn't want it to end. The characterization was so compelling, the plot just drew me in, and the conflicts, twists, and arcs kept me, at least, filled with wonder. It's one of those books you wish you haven't read so you can experience it for the first time again. The anti-hero can be awful but also so human, and he knows this. I'm sure I'll read it again. Enjoy.

Amazing!. I absolutely love this book! I can't wait to read it again! By far my favorite book by Holly Black! And my favorite vampire story! I hope there is a sequel and if there is I am gonna be one of the first to purchase it! I have also read The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black, and it was a great read as well. I can't wait for your next book, Holly, your an amazing author!

A good read that knows its own flaws.. This book, though not for those who like hardcore action, is gipping like a steel vise. Once this book takes hold you will be lucky to even put it down. The characters are well fleshed out and have compelling naratives. The are even aware of their own character flaws, which is rare in such a book. The characters know when a disition is crazy or even stupid, yet their own conscience are keeping them to what is right. This story even is able to correctly get what it’s like to experience true unfiltered panic. Those are my thoughts on this book and I hope that they are helpful.

yet another. yet another YA novel about vampires......and yet, though no longer a YA, I found it strangely compelling and read it late into the night. interesting spin on the vampire myth.....appealing, feisty female protagonist.

Good Enogh. Starts off slow but becomes memorable after all.

Stands out in crowded vampire genre. Wow, I really, really enjoyed this. Great plot line with an interesting take on vampires in the modern world. The author knows her vampire tropes well and has great fun bending them. I also liked the reluctant heroine who shows more spunk and fortitude than even she herself thought she possessed. The writing is fluid, with vivid imagery, and you feel that these situations could take place in reality. Highly recommended.

My favorite book. Literally the best book I’ve ever read in my entire life. Holly Black is an artist and this is a masterpiece.

Fantastic. This book is beautiful and fantastic. It is filled with gore and love. Had my attention since page 1 and was never dull, definitely a must read!

Vampires with a twist!!!. Okay so I'm really not into the whole vampire thing. So I was really skeptical when I first picked this book out. But as it would turn out it was not even close to what I expected. I thought the book was AMAZING!!! So anyone out there that's skeptical about reading a vampire novel I highly recommend getting this book anyways. And don't worry it won't bite. " the Coldest Girl In Coldtown " is sure to blow you away.

I love it. This was not what I expected, it was compelling and lovable with a darker essence that makes it a fantastic read. The characters were original and alluring. It was perfectly paced and I will never forget this read, it got me interested in vampires again. But I really need a sequel, MAKE A BOOK TWO NOW!

Ending was a perfect way, to wrap up a book.. To be honest the book was a bit of a yawn but in some way it had me reading all the way through. But when it came towards the end I couldn't put the book down I believe the way the book was ending, what made the book so great. I luv it now.
