Ending Rushed, Hard to suspend disbelief. I reread this in anticipation of Munro coming out in a few months. Some of the scenes and dialogue really pulled me out of the moment. Overall I enjoyed the book but it didn’t give me the same satisfaction as others in the IAD series. [Spoilers below] The characters are hard to like and the relationship is abusive on its face. But if you can get past all that, there’s an intriguing story about healing and forgiveness and prejudice. I’ve waited 7 years for the cliffhanger ending to continue and I’m hoping I like Munro’s story more but I’m having my doubts as these MacReive men seem to have issues with consent.

Another great book!. Can't wait for the next! Hurry! Start writing!

What is the next book?!?!. I read this book over two years ago and the next book STILL hasnt come out! Why?!

Boo. Sorry but this is the worst book I've read in forever!

She did it Again!!. I loved this book. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better... Cole does it again. I swear this series gets better and better. My personal favorites are with the Lykae clan. And this book is now one of them. Loved it!!

Oh my Lykae!. I've missed this author so much!! I've read all of the IAD books and was anxiously awaiting this one, especially because the Lykae are my absolute favorite! This book was fantastic! It tugs at your emotional side with everything that Will and Chloe go through, yet still has all the bite, pun intended, that you come to expect with Kresley Cole's talent and writing style. Can't wait for the next book! Highly recommend it! Definitely 5 fang-and-claw emerging stars!!:)

A bit redundant and slow. I found myself scanning pages to get to the heart of the story. I wish Ms Cole had forgone all these stories of side characters when other main characters haven't had their stories? 18 books and yet no end or real start to The Accession aside from the compound fight on the island. These stories are all the same basically and kind of becoming boring. Let's wrap it up Ms. Cole!!

Love this series, but.... This was probably my least favorite of all the IAD books. It was the first time I've finished one of Kresley Coles books and thought "Meh." There were some good parts - it starts out very exciting. But after that it just seems to lose steam. And the soccer puns and references were wayyyy overdone and pretty cheesy.

Disappointed.... I love Kresley Coles books, but this one was disappointing. It was an odd & uncomfortable read. Characters who I never really liked through out the story. I had high hopes for this one too....I really thought it would be great just like the others. Not so much...

Hands down one of my favorite series!. Few authors nail the paranormal genre like Kresley Cole. I would wholeheartedly recommend reading the Immortals After Dark series starting from book one, as she builds the wonderful world of the Lore, including the novellas in between. I am constantly surprised and thrilled... Please keep them coming!!

Chloe and Will are my favorite!. I could not put it down, I kept wanting Will to overcome his hate but understanding at the same time why he was the way he was. I also wanted Chloe to fight for him regardless and she never disappoints. Awesome ending, but now I can't wait for Munro's story.
