Love Karin Kallmaker. Anything by kallmaker is good. She's a beautiful writer. This particular book is a little predictable, but she's such a wonderful writer that I couldn't put the book down. Started reading last night at 11pm & didn't fall asleep til 2am! Another sleepless night thanks to kallmaker! If you want a classic kallmaker book, however, buy 'All the Wrong Place'. It's hot, it's sexy, & will make you wet by page 9!! But at the end of the day it's still a beautiful love story. The book is so good that after multiple library fines, the girlfriend finally bought for me ;)

I am going to re-read this one.... I read this many years ago when it was first published by Naiad Press, originally. I started reading les/fix when I was first coming out and picked up a book by Karin Kallmaker while I was waiting with hope for another book from Katherine Forrest.(Any young of you ever read Curious Wine?) This book sold me on Ms. K’s books and since she was more prolific back then (Very early 90’s), she was the author I looked for in my women’s bookstores. As I recall, this book was a very well done story. Angsty as any story of one discovering who they are, especially back then. It could be a bit more tame than what we’re used to now...or maybe not. I’ll have to read it again to see. I do recall some pretty hot love scenes, though, so...~D

Enjoyable read. A good novel with plenty of little delights for former English and History majors. About to purchase another of Karin K's novels.
