Her only salvation is to get out of Charleston and start a new life. So that’s precisely what she does. She moves to Seattle and steps right into the path of hot and sexy, Preston.
Unfortunately for both of them, Avery ends up being in the wrong place at the wrong time and is now running for her life. But she’s not alone. She has a gorgeous DEA agent protecting her and suddenly finds herself irresistibly captivated by him. There’s only one problem. Preston carries more than his share of mental baggage, courtesy of his job. His covert missions have put him in places and situations he can barely stand to think about. Avery rocks Preston’s world because she is nothing like anyone he’s ever met and something extraordinary begins to happen between them. But can their love survive in this world, where danger, intrigue and deception lurk on every corner?

Had good potential.... But it went totally downhill, and quick. The story could have been so much better. I mean, really, the girl purred like a cat and made meowing noises and the guy found that attractive? It only got worse after that. I'm disappointed :/
Wow!. Loved this story! But Preston broke my heart!!! His story is sad, plan old sad!
Edge of Disaster, Shattered Edge, Kissing Fire. I read all three in 2 days....COULD NOT put them down! Can't wait to read more from A.M.Hargroves.... Found a new favorite author!!
It's a keeper! :). Kissing Fire (#3 Edge) was great!! Preston and Avery's story was cute and could be relatable, relationship wise probably not on the undercover DEA front. Although, that is pretty hot. ;) As always every relationship has it's ups and downs but loving that person enough to stay and work it out is where it counts. I love how I could relate to Avery. A. M. did a great job with her. I'll definitely be keeping this for future reading. :)

Boring. This was the most boring repetitive worst written book I have ever brought I only read until the end because I had paid for it...
