A Long Time Coming. Spike has had an interest in his former teammate’s sister, Reese, almost since he first met her, but has never acted upon it. He worried about how his friend would react, and felt like he hadn’t much to offer such an accomplished and beautiful woman like her. But when his friend, Woody, goes missing in Bogota, and the Reese hightails it there to find him, he has no choice to go after them both. Reese has had the biggest crush ever on Gus/Spike, but figured that he only ever saw a friend’s kid sister. How wrong she was! When she finds herself way over her head, she’s truly grateful for Gus and his fellow Refuge founder. Even more surprising is just how strong her crush remains and how Gus seems to feel the same about her. Abductions, drug cartels, amazing chemistry, and all of the familiar faces of The Refuge make for a compelling and exciting read!

Another great read!. Love Susan’s books and this one doesn’t disappoint. A great mix of action, romance and suspense.

Excellent book.. This book had my attention from the first word to the very last word. It had me holding my breath in anticipation for the women and men and their safety. Another excellent book by Susan Stoker!

Great!. Really enjoyed this addition to the series. Reese is an awesome character. I loved her, and that she got her HEA with Spike.

Deserving Reece. Once again, Susan has written a winner, the hardest thing is waiting for the next book in the series to come out

Reese & Spike. Normally I love all Susan Stoker books but I’m finding with this book it’s just too repetitive. We the reader are being told the same thing again & again. I just couldn’t get into it & I’m really sorry to say that

Deserving Reese. Wow! Another great story that is one more layer of icing on the cake of this sweet series. As per her usual style Ms. Stoker has presented a well written and engaging story that is literally hard to put down until you’ve reached the end. And then of course, we must wait with bated breathe for the release of the next book. If I could I’d give this a 100 star rating 👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved it. I loved the synopsis but I loved the story even more ! It’s exactly the kind of story I like. Best friend’s sister and curvy woman. He saved her and they lived happy !
