Gemma turned her camera to the other side of the lake, trying to find something else to focus on instead of the naked hunk. Most of the wildlife had gone into hiding at the first sounds from him. He made so much noise that he scared whatever animal she was trying to photograph. Making her wait until he’d gone before they slowly reappeared.

“Are you spying on me?” she heard a deep voice just behind her.

‘Damn.’ Gemma didn’t need to take a second guess who it was. He’d finally figured out he wasn’t alone.

“You scare my birds, Sage,” she said as she casually adjusted her camera to zoom in on the opposite part of the lake.

“Did you like what you saw?” He sounded too smug.

She turned to him and saw that he was still naked.

“No. Why don’t you get dressed?”

“I enjoy being naked. Don’t you?” He sat down beside her.

She felt the strong need to throw her jacket over his crotch. He was a distraction, even when covered in clothes. Naked, it was like an open invitation to touch him. Feel him. Stare at him. She tried hard to keep her eyes above his nipples without dipping further down. Judging by his knowing smile, he knew the effect he had on her.

Gemma cleared her throat. “Most of us don’t get aroused by mosquito bites on our private parts.”

“My clothes are wet.”

“You can borrow my towel.”

“No, thanks. I’m fine.”

“Did you hang your clothes up to dry?”

“Not yet.”

He was lying, but she could hardly admit that she’d watched him undress. He probably knew how much his nakedness bothered her. After all, he’d always taken great pleasure in teasing her.

“Suit yourself.” She turned away from him, focusing on her camera. Trying to find something else to photograph.

“What are you doing?”

“Testing my new camera.”

“Feel free. You can do close-ups too.” He leaned back against the moss, showing his upper body.

What was she to do? Now that her favourite dish was in front of her. “I photograph wildlife. Not obnoxious men.”

Sage laughed heartily before he flashed her a heated stare. “How wild would you like me to be?”
