2 Stars!. 2 Stars! This is the second book in ‘The Worthington Brides’ series and can be read as a standalone. I did find this book confusing since I never read the previous book and haven’t read any books from ‘The Worthington’s’ series. So many secondary characters that just confused me while trying to read Madeline and Harry’s story. If you’ve read ‘The Worthington’s’ series, you’ll love this ‘Worthington Brides’ series as it continues with the same characters. I never read either series and couldn’t really get into this book. Some things are mentioned in this book that happened in the first book of this series and I was lost as to why it was happening since I never read that book. Basically, if you haven’t gotten invested in either of these series, you’ll be lost like I was. If you’ve read most or all of these series’, you’ll know who the people are, what is going on, and why it is all happening. *I received this at no charge & I voluntarily left this review.*

Madeline and Harry. Madeline and her sisters have a list of desirable traits for a husband. The most important to Madeline is love. Her mother does not agree. She wants her daughters to marry rank and wealth. Mr. Harry Stern is a successful solicitor and a recently elected MP. Madeline thinks he is just right for her. Mother disagrees. Will Madeline decide to please her mother, or will she choose the man she has come to love? The Worthingtons are a large interesting family, and their romances are engaging and entertaining. Now it is Madeline’s turn. She and Harry are indeed perfect for each other. They are kind, caring, loving people. This is a charming story with wonderful characters, a large happy family dynamic, a bit of angst, and a lovely romance. Very good story! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
