So many secrets. Just as I thought I knew what was happening Aletha Romig has thoroughly confused me. Reading this book is like peeling an onion, there are so many layers but you can’t tell how many until you get to the end. Roman and Lucille are now happy but it seems Isabelle and Francis have problems and the Queen knows more than anyone suspects. Then there is Lucille’s father, Inessa and Noah all of whom have a role in whatever is going on. I can’t wait for the final book to find out the answers to all the secrets.
