A story of hope!. Wow! I am so glad that I decided to read this book! Her story is so emotional and sad but sheds light on her abusive and controlling family. Her abuse was truly evil! Her family is beyond greedy! It’s so appalling. Her story eventually becomes a story of breaking free of the powerful abuse she was under and then hope! You are an amazing woman Brit, and I hope and pray you find peace and continue to change the world. You are not just the Princess of Pop but so much more than that!! Must Read. Absolutely hooked! Rather you’re a fan of her as a musician/performer or not, there’s a lot to learn by reading this book and a lot of interesting aspects to her life. This is something most people will enjoy. It’s the first book I’ve actually bought and read in years (to be honest).

Rise of the Butterfly. I really enjoyed reading the raw truths of Britney basically being human trafficked in front of the world. What a strong woman God has made her. To have survived the toxic pharmaceuticals that her dad put her on. It has been obvious to me that her parents are opportunistic and narcissistic. They are demons in disguise and tried to break her. I am so thankful that God has been preserving her for the next chapter in her life. I pray she finds healing with Fuctional medicine. I pray God blessed her with a life partner that loves her for who and what she was designed to be. Britney really is a beautiful gentle butterfly and she is finally out of her prison.

Fast paced and insightful. I haven’t always been a fan of Britney’s music but now I’m a fan of her as a person and woman especially after reading this. I can relate to many of her experiences because she is right absolutely correct when she says when a woman does something that is considered inappropriate she is looked down upon called “crazy” but when a man does the exact same things he is finding himself or just being himself or maybe stretching his boundaries? But women are vilified! Women are taught to second guess themselves everything they do and don’t question authority even now in 2023. I love her book she is sweet at heart but unapologetically blunt. A beautiful glimpse into her heart.

Yawn. Boring and honestly it skipped around SO much to the point half of it didn’t make sense. She repeated the same things over and over without going into much detail about ANYTHING. So poorly written as well, yikes. I will say it was a great cure for my insomnia though, one or two chapters a night and I was so bored I fell asleep!

5/5. I grew up idolizing this woman as a young gay boy with no understanding of what she was enduring. Reading the book opened my eyes to the scrutiny, sexism, emotional trauma Britney Spears was facing as a famous pop star in the early 00’s. I will continue to support and love this WOMAN!

Sad and Speedy Read. Brittany was so candid. Her story is heartbreaking. What her parasitic parents did to her was horrific, essentially, they were her greedy handlers. I am happy she is finally free.

What I always wanted to know. I always wanted to hear Britney’s story from her point of view. I feel really enriched by this, especially understanding how her life became an industry for her family. I hope anyone feeling controlled gets a chance to read this book.

Humanizing Britney. This book is a must read and a quick read- I was craving more. Allowing Britney to put her life - the good and bad- in to light has humbled me and made me rethink my judgement of her. I’ve always been a fan and love her music but the media put in a bad light and made her live in the spotlight- in a very unflattering way. It would be difficult for anyone. I’m so grateful to her for writing this and exposing those who have treated her poorly. She has a heart of gold and is really a sane person. I wish her all the happiness in the world. Thank you for sharing this story!

grew up with problems as a child and it displayed in the east reading of the book.. Yes this is one of the most easy to read vocabulary I’ve come across in quite some time reading a story. Language is really understandable and unfortunately I couldn’t afford to buy the book so I was stuck reading the sample all 40 pages easily turn and flipped to the end

Amazing!!!!. I have no words. I’m in total shock about the lengths this woman went through to have any visitation rights to her sons! I’m blown away at the strength and courage she has and cannot even imagine how horrific life must’ve been. I’m so glad she’s now free to live the life she’s always wanted. However, it came at a huge price of losing her sons now, which is completely devastating. People just need to leave her alone and let her live in her peace!!

It’s a very good book!. We will never know everything what Britney Spears went through but this book help us to see the abuse of power when it get into the wrong hand wether they are family or not!Sad!!!

5 Stars on 1 Star Parents. It’s sad to see people review someone’s life and not give them 5 stars, because this is a necessary read. I fully expect in our future “The Britney Spears” effect will be termed and what fame as a child with money grubbing caregivers really does to your mental health and upbringing. This is a powerful story, I hope you continue to jot down your journey Britney, because you have so much more story to tell. I truly felt your claustrophobia when you described that last treatment center, and as someone who also wasn’t free for many years, we are connected in this horrible way-but the strength to pursue and maintain happiness is evident in your strong writing voice. Keep going.

A book that touches hearts and opens eyes. A must read for all parents that wants their kids to be famous. A must read for lawyers, nurses, doctors that treat people in mental health facilities. It’s an eye opening perspective on our corrupt and messed up medical and mental health field. I am reflecting my judgment on everything I am reading and seeing in the news and as someone who’s working in the mental health field I will keep my eyes so much more open to never oversee someone’s loneliness and fear.

What a heartfelt account!. This book is truly told from Britney’s perspective, accounting for the details of her life from early childhood to present day. It was a joy to hear her voice and I hope this brings well-needed attention to the stigmas and stereotypes surrounding mental health.

It was ok. It was hard to follow, and her writing…well let’s just say she definitely is a better singer. Her story was good though, almost relatable at times when it comes to a toxic dysfunctional family. I’m glad she is free of the conservatorship, and hope she can find herself in the world again.

The woman in me. I have been a Brit fan for years, she should be so proud of everything she has survived. She is a warrior. Absolutely heart breaking book. She really clawed and fought her way out. Mind boggling. she deserved better, I hope she gets the happiness and life she finally deserves to live.

Must read!. I’ve always wanted to hear Britney’s side of things AND NOW I HAVE. You want truth, read the book! I started the book and couldn’t put it down. I wanted her to keep going and I hope she comes out with another. My wish for Britney is to keep going and to keep talking about her story. Amazing. I think we all felt for so long we weren’t seeing something behind Britney’s life, a sadness and loss of self. To see her write this, in what is undoubtedly her own words, makes me and I’m sure all of her fans so happy and so proud.
