Desiree and the new job. So I’m obsessed with Ellis’ series about La Petite Mort Club. Typically their are 3 - 6 books per “couple”/ story. All the characters are mentioned through out and are connected. This is the first about Desiree. She’s just got the job as a pleasure associate. So already this one is very different from any of the others. She’s also considerable younger then the other characters but seems to have just as much life experience. In this one she has her first club experience with Lee. A sexy alpha cowboy. While I’d like to keep guessing who she’ll end up with, I also kind of want her to over all end up with him. This does end in a cliff hanger but it’s so good just like all of Ellis’ books! Can’t wait to devour the next!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great characters, intense adult themes, page turning moments, with an introduction to BDSM firsts with a cliffhanger to experience more of Desiree’s story.

A great new series. Who can resist a new series set in La Petite Mort Club, not me that’s for sure and I was not disappointed. Desiree is unsure but determined and Ethan hires her as a pleasure associate. She takes a non-traditional approach and it pays off. It is steamy and Lee is so hot but there are so many other fascinating characters that I am sure we will see one on one during the series and I am sure they will all be as delicious as this one. Great read!.

It’s intriguing and ultra spicy. I don’t quite know how to react to this book. It’s intriguing and ultra spicy, but Desiree is so different from anyone in my experience. Perhaps not in her end goal. I think we all want sufficient funds to live our lives comfortably. But in her ability to separate her actions from her emotions. Her path is not one I could take, but it’s fascinating to watch it from the sidelines. Now, I’m very curious to see where this will go next.
