Inspiring. An incredibly inspiring collection of Steve’s words and moments. Stay hungry, stay foolish.

Wonderful and inspiring. I love all the stories and history captured in this book. Steve was one very unique and gifted visionary. I find his life an inspiration in my work and passion to inspire others. Thank you Steve! One of your greatest fans, Greg Paskal

A must read for young adults. Steve’s words offer a life guide and perspective for intelligent youth wondering “what to do/be when I grow up.“ Also an informative retrospective for long time Apple enthusiasts.

respect. What a life

Wonderful. Thank you for continuing to inform, guide, and inspire me, teacher. Stay hungry stay foolish

Great!. Fantastic! Priceless!

Honest & Touching. This book was such a friendly and inspiring read. It represents a time capsule in the life of Steve Jobs that provides such a beautiful look into the brilliance and heart of a visionary.

Inspiring and insightful. It gives you glimpses of how Steve Jobs made decisions and how he saw the world. Recommend it for everyone but specifically for impact driven entrepreneurs

stay hungry. Stay foolish. I am in awe of the insight I gained into Steve’s inner world and what motivated him to do things that most individuals would never dare attempt. As someone who has been to Apple Park, the photo of him viewing test materials gave me literal chills. Thank you Steve, for everything you did for humanity.

A good reflection. Good stuff

Steve Jobs. This book is amazing. Truly an amazing lead. I recommend anybody who is interested in Apple and Steve Jobs.

Stirring. I entered the computer business in 1982, sold Apple II, Lisa (actually 10!) and Macintosh. Reading the thoughts of Steve Jobs from the early years until his departure was a treat for me. If you read, you’ll understand how creative and successful he was, and how Apple went from near bankruptcy to the most valuable company in the world.

Thank you Steve. I have found myself reflecting recently on Steve and his work. His contributions to the tech world reverberated far beyond the walls of Apple HQ and his absence leaves a massive hole in that space. Thank you Laurene for sharing these memories with us.

Amazing book. One of the best books I have read - insightful, inspirational, and opens a window into the life of an amazing man and his dream to change the world. Thank you Steve

Inspiration at its core!!. I’ve been left in a constant state of inspiration and adventure after reading this book in full..I’ve always looked up to Steve Jobs but the pictures and personal emails showed exactly why Apple is one of the greatest companies of all time!! Stay hungry fellow readers 🙏🏾

Fun and informative read for fans of Apple and SJ. Fun and easy read, full of photos and stories of SJ heretofore unavailable on the internet. An exemplary portrayal of hard work and perseverance that are behind every success.

Worth Reading. I am about 150 pages into "Make Something Wonderful, Steve Jobs in His Own Words". For anyone interested in Apple / Pixar, this Free book is definitely worth reading.

Phenomenal. I haven’t read a book in a long time and I finished it in 2 days!! And I have kids 😂

A miracle. What a miracle that Steve lived among us for as long as he did. He made our lives so much better.

I loved this!. It was great to get a peek at how Steve Jobs thought, and how he felt about good and beautiful design, no matter what area or industry.

Touching, and full of memories. what impressed me most is Excellence is a habit, the email Steve send to employees.

An amazing insight into Steve’s mind. I’ve read countless books, interviews and articles about Steve Jobs. Yet this book is full of insightful things on his amazing life and unrivaled mind. What an amazing visonary, leader, human. He’s been my biggest inspiration for years and will always hold a large part in my heart. This book is exceptionally well edited and I couldn’t stop reading it. I really recommend it to anybody interested in Steve or just in successful leadership!

Wonderful. An absolute joy to read the inner thoughts of a highly influential individual. Through emails, speeches, and interviews you get a good look at who the adult Steve Jobs was.

Propoganda. Read half of the book… it’s mostly propaganda book with all positive things Jobs got, and doesn’t cover anything negative. For example, NeXT failed— everyone knows it— this book has 4 lines about the great things NeXT has and only a single line on why it failed.

Inspiring. As a digital marketer who has always looked up to Steve Jobs and never knew more than half of the things in this book, I highly recommend! Filled with nuggets of honesty and lessons, I can only image what the world would look like today without Steve Jobs.

Make Something Wonderful. A solid overview of what was happening right under my nose while I was too busy getting stoned. A great read.

My first book ever, many more to come. I had no idea how a book can transport you in a conference room, behind the stage, in an employee meeting, sitting along side Steve wiring the emails to himself. I have re discover my imagination, something that we all have a child but loose somewhere along the way in life. I will read many other adventures in the future. This books shows that Steve was just a person like you an I, with fear, love, anger and many other emotions but something that he did understood very clearly from the beginning is that he could not change the world alone. Leadership is not knowing more than the reset but to know that the reset know more than leadership. See talent, stay hungry & stay foolish.

Part of the puzzle that was Steve Jobs. A nice collection of information that has mostly been shared before, however, it’s nice that it is one single place, and the images are great… To the editor - you have a typo on the last page where there is a repeat of timeline events.

Fascinating!. Much valuable insights from this book.

The great Steve Jobs. This book makes me know Jobs deeper and wider

Excellent!. What a an incredible man with a brilliant mind and life perspective. This book is loaded with great advice and quotes to live by.

The closest you can get to working with him. Just like Apple products, the book honors the quote “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. A brilliant and exquisite work of recollecting and organizing unconventional writings (like e-mails) and put into a simple and elegant book that tells a well-known story in a rare and peculiar perspective: Steve’s. By reading his e-mails and transcripts of interviews you get to learn idiosyncrasies and in-between-the-lines nuances of Steve’s personality and professionalism that you never see when he was on-stage.

Awesome memories. Having worked at Apple from 1988-2013, and having been a Mac user/evangelist since 1984, I was entranced by how well this book captured Steve’s passion and ideals. I remember many of the emails and discussions about the progress and challenges. As a MacWorld presenter, I remember Steve basking in the joy of the audience as he introduced “just one more thing.” Having experienced the Apple of John Sculley, Mike Spindler and Gil Amelio, I was very glad to be able to tell Steve “Welcome back.” He will always be an inspiration.

Inspiring. Totally inspiring. I literally couldn’t put it down. Every page opened my eyes to possibility of each day. I expected the brilliance, not the humanity.

Insightful and inspirational. What a dent in the universe Steve left. The book and its fascinating excerpts, photos, and memoirs at just 23 pages are but a small glimpse into what was a very complex human, but nonetheless insightful and inspiring.

So great!. Loved this book!

believe in something,. even if that means sacrificing everything.

Brilliant. What better way to gain insights into Steve’s genius mind than through his own words via his speeches, emails and interviews? Well worth the read. Loved every page.

Wonderful Book. Very beautiful book about Steve Jobs career and life. I recommend it for anyone trying to make something wonderful. Thanks author.

Book has layout errors. When the book is viewed on an iPad, the included images are not zooming properly.

Elegant and Beautiful, just like the products Jobs created. A truly touching chronological story of the career of Steve Jobs. Full of amazing, never before seen, photographs and writings from the man himself. The Introduction by Laurene is direct and sets the tone for a book about a man where still so many feel grief. Bravo to Jony and his team, and everyone at the Steve Jobs Archive.

Wonderful and Inspirational. Everyone should read this book to grasp a sense of real possibilities that exist within all human beings. Thank you for sharing this book Apple.

Wonderful book. Simple, easy to read in short periods of time, but very informative on how Steve thought, acted and grew throughout his life. Highly recommended!

Awesome. A thought provoking and very interesting book

A good compilation. This books is a wonderful compilation of Steve’s thoughts, speeches, emails and his general communication with others. Though, many of the these words are read, and reproduced infinitesimally across different media, this is a well bound compilation, which is interesting to read, and motivating.

Steve in his own words. I dare to say this was so much better than Walter Isaacson’s biography of Steve Jobs.

Wonderful. Wonderful thoughts of a great man.

Jobs’s story in his own words. A peek into the entrepreneurship and trials of Apple’s co-founder, Make Something Wonderful is a short and interesting biography which maintains momentum.

Through the screen. Clearly…. As a long-time Mac user, I read the SJA (Steve Jobs Archive) book with a mind to adding to my understanding of the motivations of Jobs and the development of Apple. What I actually read was a book about the development of Steve Jobs, through the emails, speeches, memos and interviews he made. It was fascinating to me to finally understand the extent of the failure at Apple whilst Scully, et al were in charge, rather than bewail the loss of the Newton OS (I still have a MessagePad or two), and the PB5300 (mine was perfect and I never had a problem). I have come away from the book with a profound feeling of illumination and inspiration. For all the plaudits and excessive hyperbole about Jobs, he was a humanist, and a brilliantly flawed person, who achieved extraordinary things for a genuine purpose, not someone whose sole ambition was to be extremely wealthy. I have a more complex and nuanced impression of the man and his mission…

I cannot wait to read this.. So so excited. Thank you for all the efforts and time input into creating something so magical. Stay Hungry….

Great book and ebook really about Steve Jobs in his own words. The focus on using Steve’s recorded or written communications really allow to see how visionary and consistent he was. But also shows the evolution of some of his ideas, and even on occasion going 180° on his own thinking. As an ebook, it is very well done, while the website provides a different, but also remarcable experience. Very much worth the reading.

Fantastic. A fantastic insight into the life of Steve Jobs. Some great memos and speeches that really give you a deeper understanding of what Steve was like and his thoughts on some of the major moments at Apple, Pixar and NeXT

Beautifully put together. I read a few other books about the life of Steve jobs but this one felt special. It focuses on Steve as a person and on his life philosophy and choices. I enjoyed it very much.

Great book and insight. Well crafted and further showcasing how great the late Steve Jobs was and picking his brains into his creative process. Nice blend of notes, pictures and articles and everything in general.

Great book about a great man…... I have read a lot of books on jobs but this gives readers the chance to get closest to Steve through his own words a great read for anyone who needs inspiration as well as a look at someone who made a real change in the world up close.

Insanely amazing.. Inspirational.

Masterpiece. This book shows us that Steve Jobs was the greatest philosopher of our time. He knew how bring the best out of people and found a way the connect arts and creativity with technology. I consider it a life changing masterpiece.

A wonderful book!. I have read all the biographies of Steve Jobs - but Make Something Wonderful gives far greater insight to him as a person. It also a must read for anyone interested in innovation! Loved it! A must read!

Interesting. A good collection of interesting texts by Steve, presented with just enough context without being overbearing

Thank you. Steve Jobs uncut and unfiltered.

Roger Demers

Incredible and moving. I wish Steve Jobs wrote a book himself or gave the task of the autobiography to someone else besides Isaac. I finished that book but I detested his obvious bias against Steve Jobs, his inability to capture any of Steve Jobs ethos or philosophies, and just the tabloid nature of that piece of writing. But given it was intended for a mass audience, and did at the attend achieve mass appeal, I understand why he wrote it in such a disingenuous and gross manner. I’ve been enjoying these direct speeches, interviews, emails and more in this book. Some of it gets me quite emotional. Thank you for putting this together. The world can get so much inspiration from Steve Jobs, his life, work, and philosophy. It’s a shame the recent memory of him most people have him saying “mean” things to people.

I ate a strawberry. And a blueberry

An enjoyable read. A great read and a brief look into the life of one of the greatest innovators of our time.

Love the book. This is the first time that I have read a biography presented as a series of emails, memos, interviews and speeches . It is very effective and turns this book as almost autobiographical. It is very readable and I could not put it down.

Emails to himself. So many never published notes in here. In particular, the emails he sent to himself with various thoughts, they give a glimpse of who he was in his quieter moments, was underneath the public persona.

I miss him. … and this makes me miss him more. I cried.

Far superior to Isaacson’s biography. This is much better written and more personal than any other Steve Jobs biography, especially the terminally boring and haphazard Isaacson biography. The man knew why he was good and said it best himself. Stellar, free. The only SJ book you need.

Compelling. It’s very much an “in their own words” presentation. For better or for worse, it feels more honest and is a compelling portrayal of an individual who had a lot to say.

Beautiful. Steve Jobs was truly a force!
