Protecting Rebel. Protecting Rebel by Katie Reus Red Stone Security series #21. Romantic suspense. Can be read as a stand-alone. Rebel and Westin were best friends at 17. At graduation, he went into the military, she followed her dream to be a singer. Over the next ten years, rarely saw each other but stayed in touch via email letters. At the end of her current music tour, an accident proved to be a warning that wasn’t taken seriously from stalker letters. Westin saves her and decides it’s past time to tell her he’s been in love with her all along. Rebel has felt the same way but the threat is real out in the public and before they can easily be together, they need to neutralize the threat. Action packed, and sizzling attraction. I loved the relationship between Rebel and Westin. Friends to lovers troupe, sure, but first comforting like a good hug, to teasing, to steamy and the true heart mates. Expected suspense and twists, and hea. Also love Elliana for her hacking skills and in-your-face snarky attitude while at the same time fan-girling Rebel.

Rebel and Weston. We take another trip to Red Stone Security. Weston and Rebel have been best friends forever. Rebel finds herself in a situation where she needs Weston’s help. Finally they come to terms with their feelings for each other. Lots of action and suspense and loved seeing Detective Duarte again!

Really enjoyed!. A story of a couple who starts out bonding as young kids, who then later had to separate to live their dreams, but always staying in touch. Never really growing apart. Their dedication to staying in each others lives even if not physically showed what a deep bond they had for each other. The book begins at the time in their lives when they were able to finally be in the same location and could finally let their feelings out. I enjoyed this couple and their story, but Weston is the reason for my love of this book. He's the alpha type I love to read about. He's the protective, take charge, but didn't run over type. He made the decision it was finally time to steer their relationship where he's wanted it for years and he wouldn't let anything get in the way. Rebel is one lucky girl!

Protecting. Rebel. A series that I enjoy reading and this is book 21 Rebel had dreams, of wanting a family, friends and maybe in singing. Weston a childhood friend, maybe more in time, and his aunt. Who gave Rebel the security of her home and encouragement to follow this dream. A beautiful story of how she came into believing in herself and her talents. Second chances. Rebel and Weston have a bond that has survived time and distance. A funeral and tour bring Rebel home to Miami, it also brings a stalker closer to her. Weston is not about to let anything happen to Rebel. When he takes over her security and let’s Rebel know that she is more than a great friend sparks fly from all fronts. This is a great friends to lovers story with some danger thrown in.
