Tissue Please. 😭💗 First of all, thank you JEM for this surprising book!!! As always, it is fantastic!❤️ This book, For You, had me riveted, could not put it down. Lo has tough choices, made tough but loving decisions. Her heart loves Billy and then comes along Luke. No spoilers but I will write this. The circumstances surrounding Billy is heartbreaking and the life Lo leads is gut wrenching. Her reprieve comes in an odd way. This book had me in tears, and I felt the story to my core. This is a love story, beautifully written. This story is worth reading.

Worth the read. This book was a different take on life and love. I throughly enjoyed every page. Describing the depth of love to my husband brought me to tears. One word, phenomenal!!

Heart Wrenching. Such a beautiful love story but also such a sad story. I am sure many people can relate to having to take care of someone you love and watching them die before your eyes. This book gives you hope once you lose someone you love.

Heartbreaking But Worth It. Jodi Ellen Malpas….why girl WHY?!!! I have such a love/hate relationship with you about this fantastic, emotional, epic and amazing book that literally tore my beating heart into a million tiny pieces. I love you because For You truly is phenomenal and probably your best work to date. Yet I hate you because you broke me and at the end of the day, it was well worth it. For You is a beautiful and devastatingly heart wrenching story of the true definition of love, devotion, sacrifice and friendship and I won’t be getting over this book any time soon.

This story left me… Speechless. Breathless. Heartbroken.. I envied Lo and Billy. That first love. That kind of love that has the dream of what is to come. Until in a blink of an eye it gets ripped away. For You was beautifully written. You go through the emotions Lo goes through. Day in and day out. The heartache feels real. Tears were rolling down my cheeks as I read each chapter. Luke broke my heart even more - which I did not think could be possible. He comes into Lo’s life at the moment she loses her hope. Her will. You tread through their journey of friendship and then get hit by reality of what Lo has to deal with. This story is truly about love and surviving. For You was a book I refused to put down. It is a story that will make you drunk on emotions and will bleed through your soul. #2023BookRec

I’m in bits! Serious book hangover!. This book is quite simply amazing. Never have I cried through every page after the first few chapters before. Completely enthralling - certainly different to the alpha male book series’ I love so much. Jodi you amaze me! Don’t ever stop!

That is, until something or other in this case, someone, comes along when all hope seems lost and provides that potential silver lining. Luke Williamson is that potential lining for Lo. First introduced to both us as readers and to Lo as a kind stranger who happens to be in the right place at the right time--almost like a guardian angel, minus the whole almost running her down part--, giving her the first step in coming away from the direction she was about to go into, and turning her down another path instead. Luke Williamson is Lo's second chance prince, but not her first shot at love. Billy was supposed to be her forever, but Luke comes along like a white knight when fate decides that she needs saving not because she's a heroine who needs saving from danger, but from herself, her mind and the unrelenting nature of life not giving someone a break. Luke is a typical standup, good guy would literally do anything for anyone, strangers included, for no gain or reason other than to simply help them out. A good samaritan. His good deeds keep on coming when it comes to Lo and what's more, he finds that he wants to keep feeling as good as he does when he does them, when he isn't doing them. He wants her company. He wants her friendship. He wants her. One of the only things stopping him from making her, his, is her husband. A man whom he doesn't know is suffering in a way no man should at his age. When the truth comes to light, he knows what he must to in order to give the person he loves the best shot at a slice of happiness. Love story. Wow, what a love story, tangled and sad, so moving And thought provoking. Well written and paced, I missed the story whenever I put the book down! A Jodi gem for sure.
