5 Star Read. This was such a great read! I enjoyed the story and the watching the love unfold between the two main characters. The spice was :chefs kiss: and I can’t wait to read book two about the next couple!

Pen Pals to Lovets. I loved this book! Willow inherits a ranch in Wyoming from the father she had never met. Recently divorced, she loads all her meager possessions in her truck and drives to Wyoming hoping to start a new life. As she works to get the house in order, she happens upon a bulletin board with an address for people to write to "Any Soldier" on active duty. She remembers doing the same thing when she was in 4th grade and loving it. She decides to write to a soldier. When Nathan, who is stationed in the Middle East, receives a letter in the mail addressed to "Any Soldier," he is surprised because he never receives any mail. The letter introduces him to Willow and is signed "Wannabe in Wyoming." He writes back to her right away, signing his letter, "Pen Pal Extraordinaire." What follows is a sweet correspondence that gradually increases their feelings for each other. When Nathan returns to the U.S., he goes to Wyoming to visit Willow, even though he has a few months left to serve before he gets out of the military. As they get to know each other in person, they find they have even stronger feelings for each other than before. Anyone who likes contemporary romance will enjoy this book. Sweet and steamy. We’ll written with all the feels. Nathan and Willow are a great slow burn. Twists and turns leave you on the edge! Fantastic!

Wannabe and Soldier Boy. I love the idea of using handwritten letters for Willow and Nathan to get to know each other as well as Willow getting to know her father and discovering his relationship with her mother. There was a bit of insta-love, but I got the idea that Willow was someone who was changing her life enough (moving across the country to this ranch) that it didn't seem impossible that she would fall for Nathan. Letters of love. This book deserves more than 5 stars. An emotional journey from beginning to end that even time and generations cannot overcome. When Willow Crawford inherits a ranch from the father she never knew existed her life changes in more ways that just geographic location. Deciding to become a pen pal to a service member overseas instantly connects her with Staff Sergeant Nathan Casey. Through letters the two loves become intertwined and hope and love is in abundance. Can the connection last when he reaches stateside? Or will the baggage from both of their pasts lead them down a path they cannot get away from? With heart wrenching interactions and so much emotion I had to stop reading once or twice this was an awesome book. To have the written correspondences become so much a part in the day to day lives as well as the links to the past made this simply a masterpiece. A must read.

Willow & Nathan Forever. Wonderfully unique love story between two characters you instantly fall in love with!

This Wyoming girl. I was raised in Wyoming so I was very excited for this book and it did not disappoint. Can’t wait to read all the books in this series.

Nathan and Willow. I “wannabe” in Antelope Rock Wyoming right now! This is the first book in a new series and it is a great one. Willow is a lonely divorcée just living her mundane life in Philadelphia when she suddenly inherits a ranch in Wyoming from a father she never knew. She didn’t even know his name. When she picks up her life and moves across the country to the rundown ranch in a small rural town she never expected to stay and never thought she’d fit in. The tattooed city girl was in for a shock. Her in the closet gay rancher neighbor helps by giving her advice on her ranch and target practice and becoming her BFF. When she sees a flyer with the address to write a service member she flashes back to 4th grade and her classes pen pal service member. Her letter ends up in the hands of Nathan Casey., a solder in his last deployment before retirement. He is all alone in the world also and in need of a friend. The two hit it off and begin writing. It’s a lifeline for both of them. Can something come from this? This book has small town country living, a snooty church lady, a cute grocery stocker, a gay BFF, a pathetic stalker ex, alpacas farming, a cool Sheriff, a cat named Ethel, a prairie dog named Fred and the possibility of soulmates.

An absolute must read small town romance. Small Town, Army, Pen Pals, Alpacas, and a shotgun. What’s not to like? Willow is a strong independent woman who takes life by the horns. She owns her life and won’t let anyone stand in her way. Nathan fully supports Willow and her dreams and is right there by her side. Especially when she learns about a buried secret about her father. Wannabe in Wyoming is the first book in the Antelope Rock series. This books starts the series out strong and I can’t wait to see how it continues.

Pulls at all the right heart strings. I have loved these two authors individually for years and to have them team up is an absolute dream! This story spoke to me on so many levels, having the female protagonist be a misfit in a small town spoke to my homesteader heart and the fact that it is still a military adjacent romance had me unable to put it down. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read!

Such an amazing love story. What an amazing love story this truly was. It hit all the right emotions. I just love how much Willow loves animals, she adopts a cat and names her Ethel and then she makes a new friend a Prairie dog who comes to visit every morning for food and decides its a "HE" and names it Fred. There is Alpacas, horses, goats and chickens. First Willow is raised by a single mother, she didn't know anything about her father. One day Willow gets a phone call that changed her life for the better. A chance to start over in a whole different atmosphere then what she is used to in Philly. She moves all the way to Wyoming. Not only to escape her cheating ex-husband, but to get answers that she didn't know she needed. Willow decides to get involve and become a pen pal to Any Soldier, later to become captivated by the man writing the letters in return. Staff Sergeant Nathan Casey has been through a lot and with no surviving family back in the states he decided to continue enlisting into the military. Nathan falls hard for the pink haired, tattooed up, nose pierced women that he decided he wants to meet her when he returns back to the states. Unfortunately Willow has a run in with her obsessed Ex-husband, but thanks to her amazing best friend and next door neighbor Jeremiah he teaches her how to shoot a gun. Not any ol gun but her fathers Shotgun!!! She shots "near" her ex-husband and he cries wolf and calls the Sheriff. Little does he know how small towns work and everyone looks out for everyone. Fast forward Willow and Nathan finally meet and they are head over heel in love with each other but are afraid to tell each other how they feeling, being they have only know each other for a few months. Willow is sad when Nathans 1 week leave is over and he has to return to Kansas to complete the rest of his duty to the military. Okay i cant tell you how the rest of the book goes but i can say this. The Ex-Husband returns, Nathan surprises Willow multiple times, Willow finds out the truth of her father, Willow confesses her heart to Nathan. Now that you have read my review, go on a get this book, you will not be disappointed.
